Another cut-throat test

So uh....my feedback from the event (I'm not much of a PvPer) is that I'd like to see maybe a red outline on non-partied players. It's incredibly difficult to see who's who when we all look the same.

Tried breaking it by joining closed or closing sessions, seems to be handled ok.

I found it excessively difficult to recover from death on a new character due to the inability to go back to the Twilight Strand to re-gear with basic stuff in relative peace. Punching zoos of crits to death trying to find a weapon while players are trying to kill you is less than entertaining at the very beginning. It should not be easier to simply start over.
Maybe punching should be buffed to do damage that's a little closer to starting/no-requirement weapons? (Still less, of course, to avoid making the weapons useless)

Since there is no real economy for rushes, you might as well let everything drop already id'd. It would up the action a lot.
That was awesome!!!!

Grats to Phuuka and a 6man team for getting the 2 kills on me was a lot of fun

Man. Cut throat league is the most fun I've had in a long while. And this is coming from a guy who lost count of how many times I got slaughtered...

I have to agree though, once my meagre stash was wiped, I didn't even have gear to equip my gems, so it's almost impossible to gear back up because I'm having to punch everything. And of course, the whole time you are trying to find gear, people will come grief you.

If the population is tight enough level-wise and the activity is high enough, I could see scavenging as a viable means of re-gearing...

It is clear, however, that with a default cutthroat, once the level gap gets past a certain point, it will only be fun for those handful or so up on the top of the ladder. Everyone else will basically be watching their radar and running like hell when they see someone coming for fear of being one-shot.
"We were going to monitor the situation but it was in the wrong aspect ratio."
That was a lot of fun - thanks, guys!

I think I picked bad skills =P

I picked glacial hammer as my first gem and then It slowed down my kill speed. Then when I tried it out on some people, they seemed to move too much lols. First people to kill me were Casters with ice, then after that it was hard to run up to anyone without dying.

So for next time id probably go..Archer =(.. and probably get a party of at least 4

5man, get it right.

Good fun. Evading hunters reminded me of EVE online for some reason.

Seems fairly easy to play as a pacifist (except a 1v1 I took at the end, GF) and unsurprisingly you level the fastest playing that way. I guess that's fine though. You'll eventually get ganked somewhere.

Completely agree, I was playing an ice witch so I didn't need to exactly target where they were, but even then I was struggling to see who was in my party and who wasn't.

I know you are worried about cluttering the UI but maybe you could have a red arrow hovering over enemies.

Other than that I thought it was awesome, good job guys
