BUILD OUT OF COMMISSION....NO LONGER VIABLE DUE TO IDIOTIC CHANGE TO IRON REFLEXES

To the OP:

Looking over your "Last points" passive tree, you still have a few issues. As noted earlier, there is an extra strength node next to blood drinker and lava lash. Then south of those, right next to bloodless, you missed 2x 12% life nodes. You can pull 2 points out of some 8% life nodes somewhere and spend them there if you have to, net result of 8% more life with the same amount of points spent.

Finally, you made that build using all 120 points, you only get 120 passive points if you kill all the bandits in all 3 difficulties. Since you only kill all the bandits in Merciless, you only have 118 points to work with, not 120.....meaning you have to remove 2 points from that build if you want it to match your suggested choices for dealing with the bandits. An easy one to remove is that extra strength node you have.

As I've stated about 6 times in this thread I am fully aware of the 2 12% life nodes and when I get time I will edit the post. It takes awhile to re link 12 links to reflect mis clicks. I made this guide very quickly and provided it to the community as a "quick" reference to build. When I get home in the next day or so I will be fixing it to reflect those 2 nodes.

Lastly I used all 120 points in case anyone actually gets all 3 bandit points. So give or take a few. Originally when I made the guide I wasent expecting mJority of people to want an EXACT down to the very last point what the build should look like. I figured maybe people would be creative and figure out a couple points here an there. Now that I know people just want the exact replica I will edit it as well.

Thanks

Started a Duelist following your masterplan. I'm not an expert I must say. I need two days to get to level 20 unlike most ppl here who seem to make it to 70ish within the same time.

So far I'm pretty satisfied. The only thing I really don't understand is, why Iron Reflexes? I could understand it if you took Unwavering Stance but you didn't. Everywhere I look in this forum ppl say armor sucks at the current state. So what's the deal?

Thanks in advance.

This question has been asked a couple times in the thread already but I will answer again.

Armor mainly sucks because of the huge movement penalties you suffer from it. This can be especially problematic on hardcore. The great thing about iron reflexes is you convert all evasion to armor, allowing you to fully stack pure evasion. You do not suffer from any movement penalties with evasion :) also pure armor pieces have the lowest chance to roll the socket colors you will need for the build.
From lvl 85ish+ ranger equal/superior to duelist since you can easly have access to duelist starting nodes, while duelist can't get ranger's starting ones.

And btw I'm a bit sad that you spent time theory crafting on a build with Blood Magic when running 6/7 auras (6 with kaoms,7 without) and Blood Magic gem is SO much better.
Everyone knows the best build for archer ATM is mine, ence why EVERY streamer uses a variation of it :)

That's your opinion, if you roll ranger, and spend a bunch of points infiltrating the duelist tree, you won't have as much flexibility later on. Also the leveling experience as a ranger is excruciating. My first was a ranger (85 died on HC) and I have been much more satisfied with my duelist.

If you fail to see the benefits of duelist then stick with your ranger, although not optimal they are still viable. This spec is for people who want a variation. If you don't like it no need to flame the thread :)
I was trolling
Duelist is just better at both melee and bow specs, ranger is useless as fuck |:

BUT the Blood magic node vs Blood magic gem thing is completly true, everyone has moved on from the old concept of blood magic rangers 'cause they are just worse in every possible aspect compared to the 6/7 auras ones : /

That's totally true however you need a 6 link to run the gem with LA, and another 5 link for frenzy/elemental hit whatever you run. This also prevents you from running with a Koams heart due to no sockets which some top archers are wanting to do.

So that's personal choice people will have to decide based on wealth and what they prefer.

^^

With Kaoms you are hurting for sockets, blood magic is the best route if you plan on using this armor. I've had no problems running with or without Kaoms and using blood magic on both Ranger/Duelist - there is no drawbacks. Running all my maps with alchs now, no stats stop be from rolling face on everything.
Dude, you will have to take off 2 points from your final build if you plan to not take skillpoint from the normal/cruel bandits. So your "120 points final build" should in fact be 118 points.

You among many others should read the thread before commenting on it. So many of the same questions and comments have been repeated, it's annoying to read again and the OP has still been nice enough to answer the repeated questions/comments.
