You overlooked the two 12% max HP nodes...

Can someone show a build this these nodes, i dont want to fail my build.

Yeah please. I'm not sure which ones he is talking about either.

Edit: Nevermind I found them. They are below Lava Lash and Blood Drinker, next to Bloodless.

My question is - how much damage does Iron Grip give with this build + Lionseye (looking for solid numbers if possible)? I didn't take it on my ranger build with Lionseye, was wondering if the damage is good enough to use all those points to reach IG. Thanks!

If you have a HIGH physical bow it's definetely worth it. I can't give you a solid number as it varies depending on your physical damage. However when I was leveling I grabbed iron grip just for that little boost to DPS to level faster. Once I reached maps I spec out of it and refund a total of 3 points (which includes the 2 strength nodes to reach it from the life cluster) in prder to rush inner force quicker. Once I get myself a lions eye I will definitely be going back and grabbing those nodes :)
Why skill point over frenzy charge for merciless bandit
Is that additional +10str near lava lash and blood drinker a missclick ?
I doubt this is flawless, but this build that I optimized off of yours seems to be pretty good in theory.

- Enough DEX to wield top end bows. (Your gear will probably have DEX as well.)
- Plenty of HP nodes to be hardcore built.
- +48% to ALL Resists!
- All of the best big nodes - Iron Reflexes, Blood Magic, Unwavering Stance, Resolute Technique, Iron Grip
- +120% Elemental Damage. More than most other builds I see.
- A 6L piece will enable one to use a Blood Magic support gem, and top end armor will make Unwavering Stance expendable, so that can potentially free up 8 points to put into the lightning damage buff by Templar, more into resists, or more into HP.

Thoughts?

To the OP:

Looking over your "Last points" passive tree, you still have a few issues. As noted earlier, there is an extra strength node next to blood drinker and lava lash. Then south of those, right next to bloodless, you missed 2x 12% life nodes. You can pull 2 points out of some 8% life nodes somewhere and spend them there if you have to, net result of 8% more life with the same amount of points spent.

Finally, you made that build using all 120 points, you only get 120 passive points if you kill all the bandits in all 3 difficulties. Since you only kill all the bandits in Merciless, you only have 118 points to work with, not 120.....meaning you have to remove 2 points from that build if you want it to match your suggested choices for dealing with the bandits. An easy one to remove is that extra strength node you have.

Okay here's my build so far:

I have a 85 Ranger, but after I saw this build I decided to give it a go.

2 days 5 hours playing time (/played) level 77

DPS:

5,206 Split Arrow (6 Arrows) @ 4.31 APS
5,544.5 Split Arrow (6 Arrows) @ 4.59 APS with Frenzy Charges

9,518.6 Frenzy @ 3.95 APS
12,870 Frenzy @ 5.21 APS with Frenzy Charges

80 Resist all -60 Chaos
6,052 HP - 383 Reserved for Grace/Wrath/Anger
ES 62 :P
4,500 Armor

Gear with gems (all lvl 20; most are 20% Q):

So far I love this build over the Ranger, the attack speed is a lot better and the nodes are more efficient. Might work my way to IG but I'm still not sold if it's worth all the point to get to that over HP.

Build so far:

Made little adjustments to match my ranger build, will be focusing on HP nodes for the next 9 levels. Thanks for the information on Duelists, wish I'd check on the tree earlier.

Oh and I pick Split Arrow over LA because I don't like how LA works and I like having more arrows. Tried both 20% LA and Split Arrow and I liked how the Split Arrow performs, just seemed better to me.

Also took only HP from the bandits, last 2 I took passives.

Started a Duelist following your masterplan. I'm not an expert I must say. I need two days to get to level 20 unlike most ppl here who seem to make it to 70ish within the same time.

So far I'm pretty satisfied. The only thing I really don't understand is, why Iron Reflexes? I could understand it if you took Unwavering Stance but you didn't. Everywhere I look in this forum ppl say armor sucks at the current state. So what's the deal?

Thanks in advance.
