I must say Athena, I thought you were the biggest douche since diablo 3, but in PoE you have become very friendly and have helped a lot of people in this game, and it is sad to see you quit PoE, I hope you will change your mind and further develop this build, this build is awesome I am having so much fun with it! and you have earned my respect here! RESPECT YO!

The specific problem with this build is aside from the buffs to melee (which is a big deal), aside from the nerfs to weapon elemental damage (which isn't a big deal), the nerf to curses really hurts rainbow weapon elemental damage. Lightning arrow is still viable by itself, but you can't possibly do rainbow weapon elemental damage the same way. Basically if you are a tri-ele bow user, you got raped with the nerfbat. Lionseye users are still really hurt with this build. Yes, you do get a free respec, but they don't respec all your gems to what you want, all your gear to what you want, and you can't undo your bandit choices yet. I even asked if they were thinking of buffing point blank but I got no response. You have to understand how GGG basically kicked Athena out of the game. It really sucks when you play hardcore, get someone to lvl 80+, and then find out that your character is no quite as good, after hours of theorycrafting followed by tons of playing. When you play self-found like Athena, it's even worse. You don't even trade with other players and you don't use the vendor. FWIW, I don't think Athena's choices of +life +attack speed +skill point are preventative bandit decisions that limit his/her flexibility, but it is a huge pain in the .... I am focusing my attention on an elemental equilibrium dual curse exploding arrow templar at the moment. This is the build I was using for my dualist: This is the DW BM 7 aura Physical Crit Cleave Dualist I was planning on switching to: Edit: Wow, I just read the QQ forums. Those people were really being jerks to Athena. They should show some respect. This dualist is still my further progressed toon and Athena's build was a good one with some really good thought in it and a big reason why my guy is progresses as far as he is. I routinely got over 90% physical damage reduction before the patch which buffs it even more. It made me reconsider defensive strategies for hybrids as a whole, solely from playing this build. Would be awesome if some experienced players, could post their new builds, I don't know what to do atm. I'm a new player and can't afford a Lioneyes Glare, I love my Duelist Archer and don't really want to start new.
Personaly, I didn't see any big change in my DPS, but from what I'm reading, I should get a new physical damage bow, right? I have my eyes on a rather cheap bow, with similar DPS like Lioneyes, more DPS then my current Tri-Ele bow. Would be awesome if someone could help me out, how to make a new plan for my Archer.
