People here are just sick of hearing about D3 this is PoE and I want to talk read about that game not a game made by greedy shareholders and developed by the same team which made the easiest game ever. ps: No matter which game/forum people are joining these days you can be sure there will be some Blizzardfanboyss talking about a Blizzardgame and then freakout if people don't disagree with them. ...This isn't even about D3 or PoE anymore. It's about people not bothering to try to be balanced, even-tempered and congenial.

As for being not interested anymore, you're right, I'm not playing it since a few weeks (I guess I'll leave the board again because it's pointless). I think I played the game for 100 hours or something like that, and it was fun. But then I read you guys on the forums and completely spoil my fun by spouting some nonsense about D3. PoE isn't perfect and it's easy to critize the game, but I'd much rather let a chance to GGG to improve the game than bashing it. It just saddens me for GGG to have a shitty community like this, this game doesn't deserve this. So yeah, enjoy your circlejerk while it lasts, I just hope it won't cause the game to fail hard because blind fanboys can't have objective thoughts about this game. And read again all the post about D3 (like yours), "D3 iz gay, itz for baby consol gamerz", yeah... ridiculous... PoE forums ignore list script:

There will be room for for PoE and D3...many people just seem to think they can only pick one.
I've played a decent "WoW clone" called Allods and even though it had so many similarities with WoW, its story and game-play gave it an unique element that was really different that WoW. From what I've seen, what draws me to PoE that D3 doesn't have is the finding/lvling quasi-FFVII materia gem system and the quasi-FFX sphere grid passive tree. The story in this game also has much potential. I can't say I'm going to be playing both, but you never know. I guess to be more on topic, people should let D3 be D3 and PoE be PoE. |

" I read all pages and yet I stand by my stance. The only thing these two games are having in common is the genre "hack and slay" other than that they are extremely different. From soneone who has played the predecessor ad nauseum, so I do exactly know what I want and what not. I'm sorry but the graphics are looking extremely gay (too colorful, washed up and the tiersets remind me of PowerRangers) on top of that dumbe down skilltrees, no death penalty and free respec all the time. You might like that kind of stuff fine, for me its not the game I've hoped for when they announced it. Oh and I forget auctionhou$e plus online requirement just so Blizzard 2 can spy your PC and create a profile of you selling it to third parties. All the changes they've made scream console port and dumbed down thats my PoV and I'm entitled to it you can disagree thats fine but my point is: These kind of threads should get deleted or either be moved to the offtopic section for the simple fact, that Blizzard 2 (this is not the company who made all the great games naymore), doesn't allow discussion about other games on their forums. |

"Sure, if GGG was in a forum competition with Blizzard. GGG doesn't have to mimick everything Blizzard's doing. It's also fair to let people speak their minds, isn't it? Comparing PoE to D3 is discussing PoE. Therefore, it's relevant. No one is asking for PoE vs. Torchlight threads to be moved. If the thread is solely about Diablo, then it's not relevant. If it's still about PoE, it's still relevant. Closed Beta/Alpha Tester back after a 10-year hiatus.

" I'm obviously glad they don't mimick Blizzard 2 otherwise doubt my interest would be that high in this game but: As you are aware big companies have viral marketers and I fear with allowing things like that, the box of pandorra is open for such things thats all. |
