yes i didnt took any axe/sword nods currently so i use what i find(my main have pretty good sword but since he is on standard and i have 4month to wait,i might find better weapon till it end lol).i just made a pretty decent axe that jumped my dps by alot.i have the feeling that axe going to end up better since im pure physical dmg and higther base dmg of the weapon will make the raw dmg of axe way higther then sword and in the end,higther dps with my % phy dmg nods.

but in the end,for phy dmg build (my only ele dmg come from added fire gems and wrath/anger aura) do you think axe will end up better even if i get a little less phy dmg/atk speed from nods?

im really looking about optimisation of this build.i love this build gameplay and itwas working really great (well my main isnt using this exact same build but this one should end up even more powerful)

Hi, I want to ask, what is the easiest way to get high dps weapons? I don't hv much money....
I am at Lv72 and still using 231 and 202 Global DPS (physical with elemental) weapons :(

I am currently lvl52 and I have a bit of mana issues, despite using a clarity gem, can that be because of my attack speed ?

I've just started to play PoE a few days ago, so I have no experience in how certain defensive mechanisms work out at higher levels. But I noticed that you very strongly recommend a life bonus of 200% and up.
Is it viable to go with a lower life pool but higher armor rating?

I just made this build at the top of my head (read: not optimized) with 96 points and can easily reach 152% life, 148% armor and 104% evasion rating. If I replace a few damage nodes, I can even reach >200% armor and 104% evasion (or more life).
I know it's a completely different build than the one being discussed here. It was just a quick-shot to try to reach a balance between Armor/Evasion and Life. It seems easier to reach high defensive ratings than a 200%+ health bonus, but as I said, I have no idea if it would make up for the lower life pool.

-Sorry i made mistake there, yes it should be 0.02. Fixed it. Thanks.
-If u have mana issues you need to get mana leech from some gear like amulet/ring/gloves etc. I wrote about it.
-About your build, its different from mine. You should go top from Resolote Technique, you can save up to 3 points for 2. And those armour and energy shield increase nodes are pretty poor cuz they give only 8%. Im talking here about "Mind and Matter" node. If you want more armour you should definitely get those 3x armour nodes above Unwavering stance. Also im not sure about that Inner Force patch. You wasted points going this way. You should check my current passive tree and look what patches i made.


@Derkart.
If you want more tanky version, you should get "Increased armour nodes". They give more and are better. And ye it can works, but remember armour doesn't work vs elemental dmg mobs.

Since this build is also based on physical damage, I think it's safe to assume you should level your Cleave all the way.
how is playing without unwevering stance at end game?my old build was using it but my new one doesnt and so far its quite annoying....im farming in act3 merc before map and some monster hit really hard so they keep stunning.its also really dangerous again charger mobs.with unwevering stance even if first charger hit you,you can still get away and avoid the other but when you are stun....you dont really have the time and when you do,you usualy rubberband back in them because server think you are still stun....when il get higther armor with better gear will this problem be solve and not get stun anymore or it will always be a problem?i was thinking about getting it but im 4 pts away and my build is setup for lvl 87...i dont want to remouve +hp for that and losing 4 pts in offence nods will lower my dps by alot for my build.....i could take it later but it will put me at 91 and its quite a long way.


p.s: between if i could get a responce about my axe/sword question this would really help me.

would axe be better since base dps of the weapon is higther then sword and sword bonus is useless for me because i use RT?.i lose 12% phy dmg and 6% atk speed from passive nods by going axe but does the higther phy dmg dps of axe will end up better?i know it always depend what i find but if lets say,i got best weapon of sword and axe,will axe be superior in the end?keep in mind im almost pure physical,my only ele dmg come from fire dmg gems/anger and wrath aura.

axe are slower but hit harder,would this also make a big difference since it will ignore more the armor of mobs?
