New 0.10.5 Support Gems will be very interesting for this build:

To help make the wait for the new support gems easier, here are details on what they do!
Strength Support Gem - Melee Splash: Adds an area of effect splash radius to a single target melee attack.
Strength/Dexterity Support Gem - Multistrike: Causes you to attack quickly three times with a melee attack. New targets are selected for subsequent attacks if available.
Intelligence Support Gem - Power Charge on Critical: Critical strikes with the supported skill have a chance of granting you a Power Charge.

So its possible again to use dual strike as first attack and push dmg on it in combination with splash dmg gem. So u can really quick regenerate mana/life while doing lots of aoe dmg.
But lets wait for numbers first.

Following this build right now and is definitely a great help from the previous shadow i was doing! Thanks for the guide!

Any tips you might have item-wise? Feel like my daggers are shit, only playing during spare time so can't really complain.
Show your daggers by adding them in your post.

Get in trade chat and get some rare daggers, or buy the unique ones. Alternatively you could burn an alch or two. As far as magic daggers go those aren't terrible but they could be a lot better.

Yeah, that's the plan but I've no idea or feel of the economy here. I guess that's my big problem. :(
Investing some Orbs in Duabl-Mightflay is really worth the "money".
I got mine @ level 34, so only had to wait one level to wear them.

Now im 66 and still using them XD

Try to find some with 90% pyhs dmg above. I think u will find some for less than 2 gcp (6 chaos equi). Got mine two for less than 3 gcp together.

Use tool from here to find players offering the dagger:

it makes finding items really easy.

Quick update, I haven't replaced any of my gear for quite some time and I am now in act 3 of merciless.

Since my DR is very low and I am running the lowest HP % increase version of this build. I have to do a few things. Combat starts pretty much with me mashing enduring cry, using whirling blades in the pack to get mana back, then cursing enfeeble after that its pop a granite and go to town while maintaining the endurance charges.

Most of what my character is wearing while good on resists, are still cruel difficulty drops so I am lacking severely in the damage reduction and avoidance areas.

this build has too many flaws to be honestly considerable. High crit and low hp pool combined with the lack luster physical damage reduction means you will likely explode first time you have to deal with phys reflect mobs in a map. you also plan on 120 skill points, something no honestly considerable build should be based around. 108 is the realistic target, 110 if you plan on taking all 3 skill point rewards.

There is a reason the majority of shadow builds use CI, your build revolves around making a stupidly long journy to go deep down to duelist area for very little useful gain.

you pick up a few more hp nodes and try to say it's a hardcore ready build while being quite obvious you've never actually tried end-game HC maps or even boss fights

sorry for being a downer about it all but honestly this build has no place on HC and honestly seems more like a "my first build" kind of thing...
