Under Might and Savant, there are 6 points, 5 are 8% life. Over/near berserking are golems blood, 2 8% and a 12% life. And yes, i'm still learning the game. Very hard getting my head around the mechanics of the game. Like would 8% life or a 1.5% life regen per second be the better choice?

I did change the order on the skills, got mind drinker quickly. Finally found better weapons/daggers (i still had an original one until now, i could not find a replacement for!) lvl25 now, bit of a glass cannon. Trying to figure equipment to be a bit more 'steady'. (Might as well jump in with both feet!).

I don't have Cyclone, think that will available in cruel mode? Using firetrap, to help me some. I do have the rest of the gems.

Yeah I skipped those on purpose in favor of reaching other nodes. Next time you have a hard time upgrading a weapon, use some of the currency items on an white item (pref superior) transmutation and alteration orbs.

Hi guys nice looking build you have here, i gotta say im quite pumped to try it out!
I had my first ever character; a lvl 38 shadow just sitting there doing nothing, so i figured hey i may as well spend a heap of refund points to try and get him somewhere on the right track. albeit i will have a slightly different tree, but most of it will be fairly similar.
heres hoping it works out alright! i'll keep you posted and hopefully this thread keeps getting updated

Finally, something to follow instead of me mindlessly flailing about with my Shadow.

I don't see why it's giving you such an issue now. What are your resists and current max HP? I know you mentioned you might have avoided taking all the health nodes for a bit to long, but other than that I am at a loss.

That said cyclone is a bit touch and go now, you have to actively move away from mobs and avoid minimum distance casts of it, in my experience anyhow.

This is happening even keeping granites rolling and getting endurance charges before attempting to swing through a pack?

Another useful tip is to split pulls (taking a few monsters away from a pack at a time) though this is only really needed in dire gear situations.

God (!, yeah with a D) a new chest pice today with really nice stats. i had to spend 15 jews, ~20 chroms and 5 fusions to get my sockets, but it was worth it:



i got 2 more refund points today, so that i switch 2 dps nodes to hp nodes. now i have 1776 hp, instead of 1400 before. with new chest i gained another 2300 armor (DOUBLED!!!!) and now have 4600 armor (45% instead of 27%). my resis are only 16 fire, 24 cold and 75 ligthning resi. chaos is @ -60% :(

Looking forward to spring break to power this and a few other of my builds to completion, be on the look out for some updates sometime Tuesday.
