[0.10.current] IR/US tri-ele dual wield [Video added]
So this build is now generally dual-wield? Not just daggers right?
Nice vid btw. |

" Wear the weapons you prefer, I still stick with dagger for the global crit. Hyron on the other hand has opted to take whatever does more static dps, but the build is no longer limited to weapons of any type. Now presenting! Venom ink; malice in the pen, poison on the paper, anger in the mind.

Pretty bad build getting too many dps nodes and not many life nodes. 2.9k hp in level 74, is nothing at that level you would normally have 3.5-4k+ hp

" Thanks for your insight, fyi the build has 192% max life increase, Hyron in both vids has chosen to do something a bit different. There is a site for people who must play with 250% or more life. Now presenting! Venom ink; malice in the pen, poison on the paper, anger in the mind.

" As far as I know it increases your lightning damage done by weapons, which cyclone and dual strike use. Btw, I think the reason you haven't one-shotted yourself to a reflects pack is because your damage is kinda sorta physical (mostly) with some elemental. Just not sure if its being effective or inefficient? What level of maps have you completed with this? I'm interested because like the other fellow you sent on his way after disagreeing with your build, I'm concerned. I have a lot more passives dedicated to life and I've had SO many close calls where if I was missing those 300 life points I'd be dead. It's not about "playing with over 250% maximum life" its that when shit hits you and you weren't ready for it you're gonna die. You need that buffer, nobody is perfect and will avoid incoming damage 100% of the time. Last edited by odin7#6258 on Apr 13, 2013, 1:39:52 AM

" What lightning damage does cyclone and dual strike have? You need to have lightning damage for the 30% to work, no? Vegetarian - Ancient tribal slang for the village idiot who cant hunt, fish or ride.

Even if you hit 4k HP there will be a chance to grab more nodes and somebody will laugh calling you glass cannon... In my mind those people should start around south-west but not Shadow :)
It is always good to know basics and what I recently realized is that One Handed Damage and other one handed stuff works with dual wield perfectly. So I spent first refund points for switching from Blinding Speed notable to Repartee. Furthermore I noticed that all of my nodes leading to the dual wield damage grants less than one handed ones (Swagger vs Strong Arm). That is the place where other refunds was spent and I found other interesting places based on that fact. |

i wonder if dual swords might work better, lose crit but higher dmg?

" The build is running wrath and using elemental damage bonuses from gear for shocks. Also, yes close calls can and will happen, this isn't the safest of all builds it is however extremely fun to play and I only wish I could upload my own play videos to show the typewriter effect. i.e. whirling through a pack of mobs to where I want then cycloning back through all the while placing burning, freezing and shocks on the enemy. You can even stick to straight cyclones and I never engage a large pack without a granite flask rolling because even on an overly HP stacked character it's still pretty much suicide. My cyclone applies debuffs and kills white mobs, whirling blades puts me back at full HP if something does manage to hit me to hard. Then DS finishes off whatever champs or rare monsters are left over. Sorry I have sort of let this thread die down, since the last patch I have had major issues with the game crashing on me and have chosen to take a small break from it in hopes that whatever GGG did gets fixed. I will check back from time to time to help out and answer questions though. I also very much agree with the gentleman that said Shadow is not for beginners, they have a rough start mana wise and tend to be a bit squishy at times. The goal is to get enough leech so that you only need to run one HP and one mana potion for mistakes and roll those granites. Now presenting!
