Blackgleam is king in dps with even a subpar physical bow with elemental damage and iron grip.

I'm debating the need of all that crit multipliers at the end.

Seems like HP nodes and the duelist damage would be more helpful than hoping for crits, though then again I haven't seen how much the crit chance actually is with those nodes.

Thank you for sharing the build,its very fun and strong,i made a duelist version,can you please check it and tell me if it can be efficient?(i took blood magic because i dont have a 6 link or the unique chest with blood magic,but i dont really need so many auras,this way i should be able to sustain the cost of the skill with no problems):

If you dont have much crit multiplier on your gear yet, those crit multiplier nodes in the bottom right are very efficient.
The biggest issue i was having with very high life rares that also have fire resistance, i deal like almost no damage to them... until i crit and they get shocked and then they fall apart.
Critical strikes with a very high critical multiplier is the best way to deal with very high life targets, i have a new amulet however that grants 60% crit multiplier, thats why i respecced those crit multiplier passives on the bottom right in favour of more life.

The duelist area definitely looks to be viable with this build.
I still prefer to be able to shock/freeze/ignite my targets more often, that way rares become a joke, so i wont respec the critical strike chance on the bottom right.
No reason not to dive into the duelist area though, ill put my next levels towards the duelist.

How much critic chance do u have atm? i think that crtic chance its quite useless if you dont have a lionseye,since u will miss most of them anyway,and the base crit chance on bows its quite low....what about static blows?if its true that shocks are gamechanging vs ele res mobs static blows should be a must...i am also wondering if a pure physical build is viable
He does not need a Lioneye to achieve 100% hit chance, because Rain of Arrows has an inbuilt 100% hit chance.

He doesn't need static blows that much because he can crit, and when he crits, he shocks the target, and from then on the damage just keeps snowballing.

Pure physical is hard to pull off because of reflect and weak physical modifiers available. You are far better off with a conversion type of build if you want to go down that route... and that brings us back to an elemental build. Currently elemental damage wins in this game.

Thanks for helping out with the answers btw, as long as you dont bullshit people its greatly appreciated :)

My critchance is 14.9%, which is good enough to deal with any high life, high fireres rares.
Without crit, stuff like cinder elemental rares would be impossible, because they have a lot of life and a shitton of fire resistance, rendering my damage almost obsolete, except if i crit.

i wasnt talking about the skill hit chance but the hit chance for crits,kripparian says that they are 2 different things,so even if u always hit the crits can miss,so if u have a hit chance of 60% it means that ur critic chance is actually reduced by 40%,this is why lionseye is so good,because with it even crits cant miss
In the case that i can't find a good physical damage bow...would it still be viable to go pure ele damage without blackgleam/iron grip? (but keep the option open to spec into iron grip when i get a good phys. damage bow).
