"
Last update was on: 24. April, 2013. Version 0.10.7

Health: 6458 (337 reserved for auras)
(with kaom´s heart, 10k is achievable rather easily)

Rain of Arrows: 11330 dps
(this is without shock or ignite, and i can trigger all 3 elemental ailments.)

Armour: 14002
Armour with granite: 39271

Resistances: 80%
(this build is capable of getting elemental adaption in 3 points, which would put my resistances at 85%)

The reason why you go towards the bottom right first is in order to get enough dexterity to equip all bow types.
Once you are there, get all of the good stuff that is located on the bottom right.
If you need resistances to cap out (because your gear isnt that great yet), you can easily get these resistance nodes:

Start going towards the templar area in order to get the good life nodes, the int on the way (which you need for your auras), the nice elemental dmg nodes, and also body and soul.
Going to body and soul is 28% armor and 10 all resistance for 3 points, which is quite good.
This also leaves you the option to get that endurance charge left to it, which i had for a very long time (until i had enough life and armor to survive without the additional endurance).

Again, if you need more resistances, just take the diamond skin and surrounding passives to complement your defense.

Level 75ish:
Spoiler
http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgEAAnEEswx9Dq0QfxRNFHUVIBo4KPopLimlKk0s6TB8Mn4yiTWGOdQ6szrhPAU8LT38PydBh0bXSn1M_02SUFBRR1b6V-JYY18_Y6dnm2egbqpv8nRBd9d343flerh8uH8rgseDOIcZh3aI8YuMjAaMz5AKkFWdqp_foJ-iAKSspMKmV6eEqn-quK4-rpOvbLc-uJO5zcWKxp7GrsbY3Q3dRuFz52Pr7uw47SDvDu988B_yRfZI_E78xf4K

Now you can respec the body and soul and also the crit passives on the bottom right in order to get to buff effect faster.
The higher level your auras, the stronger buff effect becomes, thus you dont wanna skill it too early, but since we are at a reasonably high level now, your auras are going to be on a high level aswell.
The remaining points go towards the increased area passives in the templar area, and additional elemental dmg nodes and 10% resistance.

At this point the build is basically finished.
Any levels beyond this will just increase your efficiency.
You can put the skillpoints into more life, back into the critpassives in the bottom right, or start going towards the duelist area.

If you dont have access to an alpha´s howl, you have to get the 2 mana reservation passives on the left side of the marauder starting area in order to run 4 percentage reserving auras on your mana globe.
Here is the lvl 75ish version if you dont have an alpha´s howl:
Spoiler
http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgEAAnEEswx9Dq0QfxNbFE0UdRUgGjgo-ikuKaUqTSzpMHwyfjKJNYY51DqzOuE8BTwtPfw_J0GHSn1M_02SUFBRR1XWVvpX4lhjXz9jp2TnZ5tnoG6qb_J0QXfXd-N35Xq4fLh_K4LHgziHGYd2iPGMBozPkAqQVZ2qn9-gn6IApKykwqZXp4Sqf6q4rj6uk69stz64k7nNxPbFisaexq7G2N0N3UbnY-vu7DjvDu988B_yRfZI_E78xf4K

As long as you dont have access to an alpha´s howl, you have to keep these 2 passives in order to run a fourth percentage reserving aura.

Current skillbuild of the character (level 86):
Spoiler
http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgEAAnEEswx9Dq0QfxRNFHUVIBo4I_Yo-ikuKaUqTSzpMHwyfjKJNYY1kjnUOrM64TwFPC09_D8nQYdG10p9TP9Nkk7IUFBRR1b6V-JYY1pIXz9jp2ebZ6BsFm6qb_J0QXfXd-N35Xq4fLh_K4LHgziD24cZh3aI8YuMjAaMz5AKkFWdqp_foJ-iAKSspMKmV6eEqn-quK4-rpOvbLc-uJO5zcWKxp7GrsbYznHTft0N3Ubhc-dj6-7sOO0g7g7vDu987_DwH_JF9kj8S_xO_MX-Cg==

Notice how the character is incredibly flexible in the endgame.
If you have a weakness (because of non-perfect gear), you can cover that weakness through the skilltree very easily with this build, since it has access to many useful things.

I respecced the 2 mana reservation passives (that you need in order to run 4 percentage reserving auras on your mana) because i have an alpha howl now.
If you dont have an alpha howl, you have to pick up the 2 "less mana reserved" passives on the left side. (respec 4 points)

Core item of the build: Blackgleam
Spoiler
This build utilizes a high physical damage attack, which is Rain of Arrows.
Rain of Arrows alone grants 57% physical damage increase on level 20.
Iron grip grants another 70-90% physical damage increase for a single point in the tree (the amount of %physical damage increase depends on how much strength you have on your gear).
If you use a high physical damage bow now, that damage is increased by about 140-150% due to rain of arrows and iron grip.

Now lets add Blackgleam to the equation.
After your physical damage has already been increased due to RoA and Iron Grip, blackgleam converts up to 50% of that damage to fire damage.
Add to this the added fire support and hatred, and we are looking at about 80% of your damage being elemental.
Add to this anger and wrath and we are looking at about 90-95% of your damage being elemental.

What does this mean?
This means that almost 100% of your damage scales to 100% with elemental damage passives.
About 70-80% of your damage (the physical damage from your bow minus the auras and elemental dmg on rings etc) scales to 100% with physical damage increases.
This means that this build benefits more from elemental damage passives, and since elemental damage passives are mostly superior to physical damage passives anyways, skilling solely elemental damage passives is the way to go.
However, since 70-80% of your damage scales with physical damage passives, getting efficient physical damage passives like iron grip is very efficient.

Add to this more weapon elemental damage support, and we are looking at very scalable damage.

Auras: Wrath, Anger, Hatred, Purity, Determination, Grace, Vitality

Current Gear:
Spoiler

The weakest part of my gear is indeed my bow. I could get a very cheap upgrade rather easily, but i deal enough damage, so i might never actually buy an upgrade.

Flasks:
Spoiler

As you might have noticed, my first flask has increased evasion mod on it, while my granite has the increased armour mod on it and since i am using iron reflexes now, both of these stack to great effect to increase my armour.
Since the first flask is in effect all the time (if you are taking damage), you get the full bonus of the evasion mod, which stacks with the armor mod from the granite flask.

Bandit Quest rewards:
Normal: Help Oak for life
Cruel: Skillpoint
Merciless: Help Oak for 1 Endurance charge

first time I've seen someone say rain of arrows never miss.

Nice build though, didn't know it was decently attainable to get 5k+ char screen DPS with it without insane gear.
isnt 6l considered insane ?
how much hp your rain of arrows costs ? you use no healing and have only 4,8k hp , so i think its important

My lifereg covers it to about 75% right now.
If i attack permanently my health goes down slowly.
A few more levels on bloodmagic gem (reduces the mana cost multiplier) and a few more health points and the lifereg will cover the cost to about 90%.
If you want to reach better coverage earlier, this build has access to reduced mana cost skillnodes, which helps out a lot, though i dont think its necessary.

If you want to have an even tankier character, just replace added fire damage with lifeleech.
The damage will still be very good (especially with lioneyes it will still be at around 15k without shock or ignite) and you will have insane amounts of lifeleech.
If i get my hands on a 6L lioneyes, thats what im going to do i think.
If i equip both a 6L lioneyes and also a kaoms, i wont bother with lifeleech, except if diamond flasks are put back in the game.

Nice build! i will try it once i get my full respec (ive got Berserking and since its moved with the next patch, i should get a respec, right?)
You have a 6L 3R2B1G pure AR piece that has 3 res + max life. That's already god damn insane gear.
