hey there. first of all, here's my pob

i'm running LL, so some things are not applicable to you. for CI build, you'd use malevolence/disc as the main auras. if you have additional mana reservation nodes/enlighten etc. you could run aspect of the spider in addition. also, hatred comes in when you have an aul's amulet

this will allow you to run hatred on top of everything you have.

as for the gem setup, the guide's original setup is still relevant. just make minor adjustments to your taste. for myself for example, I have phase run - arcane surge - faster casting - flamedash for movement. and since LL is not relevant for you, the gem links blood magic - clarity - hatred/malevolence is also not relevant to you. instead, you could experiment with other CWDT setups or utility setups.

hope this helps!

There is many variations available, they all work. Lowlife, more curse, more offense, more defense whatever, once you have the core of the build, you tweak it based on your current gear, budget, goal and playstyle.

I made a variant without minion damage nodes (since I'm not using a minion damage scepter), POB wise it was roughly the same but I could fit a bit more all resistance from the tree, which makes gearing easier (or more focused on es/damage).

Did you pick up Zealot's Oath? I really like it and if you're going over there it makes sense to get some minion nodes. But my original build didn't use it and I also estimated that the DPS is roughly the same. It does make it easier to snag decent jewels though.

I'm going LL now and liking the results, I will probably not reach 95 since I die too much (not the build's fault, half of them are crashes/freezes or me being silly in Delve). I've found that the CWDT Immortal Call isn't really necessary at all.

I'm still on the lookout for a good upgrade piece that will fit Spider and others to balance dex/str (I have some slots to craft but want to finalise gear first), and throwing random alts to make a good wand, but happy with what I've got.

Tree if anyone cares: https://pastebin.com/9xXVpJca

saw the POB, if I were you, I'd definitely find a way to get Amplify squeezed in. do some experimenting with Light of Divinity and Holy Dominion (whether you need it or not). I often find people adding it because it looks like a juicy notable passive, but for myself I was able to get better results allocating the SP elsewhere. (dps wise the 2 nodes dont do much for me).

I like ZO as well ;)

I found myself still taking Spiritual Aid because I needed Sovereignty, and those 5 SP were still the largest DPS boost for me (even without minion dmg wep).

Dropping at least one for Amplify does seem good, probably Holy Dominion.

If I drop both though, it doesn't seem worthwhile after fixing the pathing unless I drop the jewel too (I'd prefer the STR path to the INT, and dropping those and Light of Divinity leaves me too low). But overall your tree looks better, if I get more STR/DEX on gear then I can change to be somewhat close to it even 2 levels below. Dropping the "Ash, Frost, and Storm" nodes was probably a mistake, the damage isn't insignificant.

Do you have any issues with -60% chaos? I think I need to keep at least some.

yep, your passive tree is a minmax balance between your items as well, just have to juggle them both. so far no issues with -60% chaos.

I linked CWDT with enfeeble and it works great for me.

before I was LL (and therefore had more gem slots), I experimented with CWDT - Imm call - enfeeb + temp chains. I was dual curse at that time. After that, I experimented with enfeeb/tempchains and a low level phase run (separate from my normal phase run). this procc-ed quite frequently, giving me phasing and zipping through mobs to run away if I took (enough) damage. it's not a life threatening amount so im fine. I also have phasing on kill on my jewel. so eventually I dropped it, and now that I'm LL I dont have enough gem slots and I just have CWDT - Imm call. but because of my amulet generating endurance charges, it's pretty significant.

Thank you for sharing the pob! Looking at the damage calc for vortex do you find that in boss fights you actually maintain full charges?

Also looking at your flask setup, why did you decide on Rumi's + Jade instead of Quartz + Basalt?

Edit: PSA, just found out that my glove setup adds a 1.3 mana reservation modifier to aspect of the spider from Efficacy :(

I'm looking forward to going LL just so I can add clarity.
