" That's a great idea. I can't match the damage of that wand in pob without spending more than I have. If I drop storm brand and orb of storms I could put enfeeble in wand, what else? Phase run maybe? Anything else that would work better for last slot? |

I run it. also, dont be too worried about POB damage. honestly, a multimodded wep increased my dps by about 10-15% only. it's huge for a single change, no doubt. but what im driving at is it's not groundbreaking to the extent that the build will fall apart without it. I was using https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Spine_of_the_First_Claimant for a long time before switching to a simple wand with "triggers socketed gem" that cost 20-30c. my advice, dont try to build around a wep just for dps, look also at your QOL and how if you do go for malachais ring, will it take up a precious ring slot. it may be a case where using another ring would be preferable instead. |

What would be better on a watcher's eye for this build, Faster start of energy shield recharge discipline or ailment damage deals damage 15% faster (malevolence).
Have the budget for both but was just wondering if the faster damage is worth it. |

" ideally, you want BOTH faster start and malevolence gives ~20% more DoT. actually im not sure about the ailment damage, but currently im using the malevolence one that adds % increased to DoT multiplier. it's up to you if you think you have issues with dps, or with survivability. also, you may consider the clarity one where it gives max mana as additional ES. (as a 2nd line in addition to malevolence/disc). do a quick calculation whether faster start would be better for you, or if you'd like the dps better. for myself, if I got the faster start, it'll reduce my start from 1.5s to about 1.2s. to be honest, both are viable. you can make do without the faster start with good mechanics, and more dps with other items. it does not break the build either way. edit 1: someone please check this, I am unsure. but damaging ailments seem to only refer to - bleed, poison and ignite. so I do not believe the damaging ailments deal damage faster actually works for us Last edited by SonsOfKorhal#5375 on Apr 23, 2019, 9:25:28 PM
