Im in the same boat, its the reason i quit PoE
i have a 7970, and i got Crysis 3 free download with it i run my card at 1100/1500 i have a AMD phenom x4 processor O.C. to 4Ghz and i run Crysis 3 at ALL very high, including shadows, and i run the game smooth as a babies ass. but this game ? fuck no.. it drops to 5fps, then back to 300.. then battle.. down to 10fps etc etc... my CPU and GPU are SLEEPING with this game, yet i suffer these random drops in FPS any time there's many mobs on the screen. FIX..THIS..SHIT..GAME !!! and don't tell me to fucking buy a Nvidia card, i just spent $430 on a card that runs any game but this shit... from what they stated about optimizing be prepare to wait 1-2 years for them to fix it or when open beta ends

It's weird how they boast about the ability to run PoE on lower systems, you'd think the priority lies with making sure people can play it smoothly

" It does work fine on low end computers, until you start playing multiplayer which is an optional component of the game to take part in. Computer specifications:
Windows 10 Pro x64 | AMD Ryzen 5800X3D | ASUS Crosshair VIII Hero (WiFi) Motherboard | 16GB 3600MHz RAM | MSI Geforce 1070Ti Gamer | Corsair AX 760watt PSU | Samsung 860 Pro 512GB SSD & WD Black FZEX HDD |
|
" Multiplayer is a core aspect of the game. XP and loot bonus are just too important to bypass. Without multiplayer, people could as well play Diablo 3. IGN: Cyanyx
