" Bex, could you give us lowly xbox players some more info on this? Is this a technical limitation, policy decision etc? Would be good to know if xbox players will miss out on these sorts of events in future. Don't want to get my hopes up only to be disappointed again. I realise xbox is a new venture but clear communication on this sort of thing from the outset will avoid a new player base feeling left out in the cold wondering why. |

I second that. Was excited and making plans for a build on xbox1 then saw the reply on this post. Bummer...

" If you look at my profile you'll see some levels of support that might indicate I've been around for a while. (I have a PC and play on that too, since Beta if you must ask.) If GGG are serious about launching on the Xbox then they need to be serious about communicating well on that medium and to that new community. We're allowed to be disappointed that it wasn't explicitly stated in their announcement that the xbox platform was excluded from these new leagues. Hopefully they'll do better next time. Honestly it takes one extra line. |

Some noob questions:
- do I have to make a new character for the events? - Is it a special mode (like Solo self found)? - Bcs its a race does only the first who reach LVL 35, 50, etc....get the lootbox and skins? - Can I prelevel a character to 34 and use him as soon as the event starts? - Do I have the same stash content as atm in the league or do I start at 0? - WHats the best & cheapest build for this (speed build)? " Also a noob, but will attempt to answer these for you.. - Yes, it has to be a new character, it's like a blank league. - It's a unique short term league essentially. - Nah, those are equated at the end of the event, you are in a draw pool for the upper tiers of rewards, like a lottery. Everyone will get the lootbox if they're high enough level - no, when the race unlocks you can start, at lvl 1 - you will start with nothing - I find essence drain/contagion and ancestral warchief to be the easiest builds to scale without cash, personally for me. I've also had plenty success with a gladiator sunder build, but I feel like it needs more uniques to work than the others who can get good clear on pretty much zero investment. Spectral throw/blade flurry/scorching ray are also pretty healthy choices to build in to. But there's dozens more that people will be able to suggest. |
