Near the end of the Harbinger Challenge League we're going to be running two 10-day competitive events: Turmoil and Mayhem! We ran these events during the Beta for The Fall of Oriath and due to their success and popular demand, we've decided to bring them back! There are many awesome prizes up for grabs including the Chaos and Order Mystery Box, Alternate Art Demigod's Dominance and many more microtransactions.

The 10-day Turmoil Event will run from Nov 10, 2017 3:00 PM (EST) until Nov 20, 2017 4:00 PM (EST) (This is displayed in your local time.) There are three variations of this event available, Standard, Hardcore and Hardcore Solo-Self Found.

In Turmoil, each area other than towns and the Twilight Strand will contain dangerous inhabitants of one out of 9 different types: Rogue Exiles, Tormented Spirits, Invaders, Strongboxes, Breaches, Perandus Chests, a 20% chance to spawn Beyond demons, Nemesis with 5 additional Rare monster packs and Bloodlines with 6 additional Magic monster packs.

These mods are the same for all players and rotate once per hour. This event is not voided which means your characters and items will be transferred to their parent permanent leagues at the end of the event. Ascendancy class choices are locked for this event. Once you pick your class you won't be able to change it.



The top of each Ascendancy class in each version of the event will be awarded an Alternate Art Demigod's Dominance. Every player who reaches level 35 in the Turmoil Event will be awarded a Chaos and Order Mystery Box up to one time per account. Leveling multiple characters to level 35 will not grant multiple mystery boxes. There are also many microtransactions up for grabs that can be seen below! These prizes will be awarded after the event has ended.

The microtransaction prize pool will be shared by all three versions of the event. The Demigod's prize pool is not shared between events and will be awarded to the top Ascendancy class of each version of the event. The Celestial Weapon Effect, Stormcaller Armour Set, Battery Back Attachment and Arcane Shield will be drawn for the top 100 of each event rather than shared between all three.





The 10-day Mayhem Event will run from Nov 24, 2017 3:00 PM (EST) until Dec 04, 2017 4:00 PM (EST) (This is displayed in your local time.) There are three variations of this event available, Standard, Hardcore and Hardcore Solo-Self Found.

In Mayhem, areas are inhabited by one of the following mods: 20 x Rogue Exiles, 20 x Tormented Spirits, 20 x Invaders, 20 x Strongboxes or 10 x Breaches. These mods are the same for all players and rotate once per hour.

Due to the insanity of this event, it will be voided which means that characters and items will not migrate to parent leagues at the end of the event. However, you will be able to use your microtransactions!

If you're new to racing and not sure how it works, check out some tips for getting started here. NOTE: It's okay to delete your race characters once you've participated in a race. They only need to appear on the ladder to be counted.
