No respec options? No thanks.

What is this, 1995? No respec options for this spiderweb of a skill tree other than 1 passive at a time? Don't make the mistake of catering to the most hardcore 1%. Goodluck with the game, I enjoyed it otherwise.

Guessing about your frustration about having no full respec option available, you haven't been playing Diablo 2 a lot, but rather a casual gamer, that plays games, where you can jump around skill choices back and forth.

If you screw up your build, then that only means, that you haven't studied the options, because now we have a Passive Skill Tree planner on the website and you should plan your character before doing any rash decisions - it's your fault you screwed up by picking non obvious choices and then whine about that.

You have Orbs of Regret in the game, trade for them to get enough respec points to fully respec your foolish choices and that will solve the problem.

This game DOES have a Respec option, but it's not a 1 button click option.

It should have a extra protection against accidential missclicks though. It bloody sucks when you brows the tree and then accidental click on a skill and learn it (Well hello you random +10 dex talent in my tree!)

I did that on a character, it bothered me so much (a useless node for that char) I deleted the toon. That node, mocking me every time I opened the grid, grr!

A confirmation option would be good.

I have to laugh at the "your fault for not studying the grid tree and doing your research before picking a node. What? You thought you could just play without studying first? You think this is fun and games?" crowd, lol.

You see the exact same short sighted derp comments on every game forum...until they add a respec, or map, or inventory sort, or whatever expected and obvious feature is requested.

wtf is everyone talking about? you can get a full respec at high level easily for about 3 exalted orbs.

that is already very, very, very easy. at this point rerolling a high level char is completely insane when you can perform a full respec that cheap.

respecs have to become MORE expensive.

Agreed. It seems to me like most of the complaining is coming from noobs who haven't even looked into respec options in the game.

In addition, most likely you wont need more than 50 orbs of regret because you will keep some points and not reset all of them, even if you heavily change the build. Also you have 8 respec points from quests and are most likely not level 100.

50 regret orbs you can get for 1 exalted + 2-3 gcp.
