Donald Trump and US politics

The guy on the ground does not really look that innocent with this long black something (weapon ?) in his hand....( reason for editing ? )

From this picture it´s totally uncertain what happened there.

Pattern recognition is something humans have, and something they try to ingrain AIs with for a reason. Using good judgment with that recognition is also important. If over 9,000 people were killed by supremacists this year, the pattern would certainly be clear.

Really not sure what you're trying to convey with this. Seems to me like more distraction.

Pattern recognition seems like a distraction to you? OK, I'll agree to disagree on this one and let it go.

"

Regardless. of the above distraction, Trump has been extremely quick to condemn attacks perpetrated by 'brown' people wherever they may have taken place.

'brown people' is not a term Trump has used in criticizing such attacks.

Now you're just being pedantic.

While we're at this, I should also remind you of the 'silence' from Trump regarding the Finsbury Park attack and the Minnesota mosque bombing. Why, because those attacks, just like the Charlottesville murder, don't fit with his racist narrative.

"
His silence on twitter on Finsbury was both a message on how the left treats similar attacks (but in the opposite direction) and an acknowledgement that nothing he would say would be a harsh enough criticism for the left. Every time the media brought up Trump's hypocrisy, they reminded the public of their own. They STILL don't realize that. If Trump had deleted 33 emails during the campaign, the MSM would gleely report "Trump deleted 33 emails, Trump deleted 33 emails" over and over, and never once understand how they had been played a thousand times over.

This is complete nonsense. If something something seems to fit with what he wants his base to believe, It'll be posted before you know it.

"
The attack on Finsbury was terrible and completely unwarranted. The Minnesota mosque bombing could be an act of hate/terrorism. The official response was:

"Sebastian Gorka, a deputy assistant to President Donald Trump, said in an appearance on MSNBC Tuesday that the White House would not be commenting on the incident until it has "some kind of finalized investigation.”

I really don't care what Mr Gorka said or didn't, it's not the point.

"
Why would they wait for this, when they have been so quick to criticize other acts of terrorism? Maybe it was the church that was burned with Trump's name and a swastika that turned out to be a member of the same church? Maybe it was the Houston Mosque attack, in which it turns out that one of the mosque's own members is being charged?

"Gary Nathaniel Moore has been charged with arson in a place of worship, a first degree felony."

Maybe it is any of the other 90+ hate crimes supposedly by "right wingers" proven to be hoaxes in the past year?

Trump is very selective about which attacks he condemns. If it fit's his narrative it will be on Twitter instantly.

It's true tho.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

Rubbish. The condemnation came from all sides. Even his own party. This tweet is just trying to appease his base.

He doesn't have a party. The RINOs hate him.

Really doesn't matter how you try and spin things, one could almost say it's fake news.

Thank you for posting this. I hadn't seen that, or I wouldn't have posted the one I did see. That is clear as day. I watched the one I posted several times, trying to tell if it had been edited before posting, and it didn't seem like it. The original sound of the video was low and the person was talking over it, so I couldn't judge by any break in sound.

It definitely looks like sometime after he fell, they came in and beat him with sticks as the original image indicated. From the video I had mentioned - he may have been shouting at people, but I did NOT see him make any attack. The person in front of him was the one who attacked.

I was definitely wrong on the kid being attacked. As I have said before, one of the reasons I participate in these threads is for the different points of view. Someone else may know or have learned something I haven't seen, or have a better perspective on it. I would much rather learn when I have been wrong, and correct my mistakes, than "win" a discussion.

BTW you previously posted a video where "it shows" that James Alex might have accelerated only after his car was hit by a baseball bat. When I saw that video the first thing I did was to go on youtube to verify if it was true, and I saw the same recording on Fox News youtube channel and there was no change on the speed of the car when it's hit by the baseball bat.

That makes me believe that the video you posted here was edited.

OK, I went back to the original video from Twitter:

https://twitter.com/brennanmgilmore/status/896434516260212737

And to me, the car still looks like it accelerated after the hit. It doesn't look as dramatic of a speed change as what I saw. I think I can guess what the person who edited that video did to make it seem that way. They were zoomed in for a narrower aspect of the video, and then zoomed back out immediately after the sound in which the stick is supposed to be hitting the vehicle. This preserved the continuity of the frames, but gave the impression of a rapid change in speed.

Very deceptive to say the least. I thought the camera was just zoomed in to make the stick hit more clear, but wasn't thinking about the sudden zoom out.

I kinda been waiting for you to come here to warn people that the video you posted is most likely fake, but it's kinda disappointing that you didn't.

I hadn't noticed before it was edited/cropped or I wouldn't have posted it. I hadn't seen, nor had I been looking for follow up videos analyzing it during the meantime. The real world is usually more compelling. Sometimes, I will have a post open and start a reply and either not get back to it, or finish it much later.

As you can probably tell, I'll catch up on threads and post replies, and then go back to the real world for awhile. I tend NOT to watch major news versions of events as I know they often edit them (usually for time, often for impact, occasionally to slant/distort them). I also don't like to try and hear what is going on over the announcer's voice.

I've seen the inside of a few major news stories first hand, and seen how the MSM portrayed them, so I've been questioning them for a very long time.

I might start taking things you post here with a grain of salt from now on.

You should! There's no intent to misinform on my part, but my sources could be in error, as we both have seen just now. The things I know first hand or have a good knowledge of, I tend not to source/link. Sometimes the source I learned it from is no longer in print, and not readily available.

In any case, questioning others honestly, and sharing what we know and think is the only way we can discover the truth.

Since the feds have pressed charges, I doubt we will hear more official details on this unless someone leaks out some information.
