And he will. I'm all too happy to believe in hell if it gives me hope someone like him is going there. Sooner rather than later would be nice but all the folks likely to solve a problem with a bullet are on his side, so I guess we'll have to settle for parody Facebook accounts, JK Rowling tweets, and that hell I mentioned.
I'm not so sure it's a bad thing Trump took advantage of that. Trump supporters feel like they've gotten a win. That's probably all the win they were going to get from either president. The current global economic climate just doesn't favor uneducated blue collar working class families to the same degree it did in the US pre mid to late '70s and that likely wasn't going to change with Hillary either.

Which all rings true with what I recall at the time. it's not as if a squeaky-clean millionaire suddenly turned into one of the most reviled Western world leaders in history overnight. The progression from what he was to what he is is pretty fucking logical and believable. He was a shady shit 30 years ago when he was an aggressive property developer relying on bully tactics; he's a shady shit now he's an aggressive president relying on bully tactics.

I think many people voted for Trump because they believe he will use his traits and talents to fight for them. That's why they don't care much about him constantly lying (I'd call it stretching the truth), grabbing pussies and so on. Hillary didn't poll better in terms of trustworthiness, but people also didn't believe she would fight for them, instead they thought she would only be in it for herself ("I'm with her" was a terrible, terrible campaign slogan, I cringe every time).
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
