The 0.10.1d account changes
Best way to see how shady someone's claim is- is to see if they ever login to the game again. Chances are, I'm probably not going to play again. Lost way too much :/

Looks like everything was sorted out while I slept! Good stuff.
" That wouldn't work. Joining a party would still be possible so the items could just be dropped on the ground in an instance then picked up by another character. IGN: Friar

One concern:
I play from 2 different cities all the time. Will I have to use an unlock code every time I drive from one location to the other? Or will it (hopefully?) remember the 2 cities from that time forward? This seems like a great new feature, but I mean I drive up and down that pass all the time. Invited to Beta 2012-03-18 / Supporter since 2012-04-08

Is there any chance on adding the option for an SMS account lockout recovery?
It's much harder for someone to steal my phone than hijack my email. Being able to reset via SMS would be really helpful. |

Still, concerned about having to go through support or emails every time I make that drive, though. And I've been reading that it'll send me a new password every time? So okay, I'll need my email open to play the game, it seems. Maybe that's not so bad, but I'd really like for the thing to just remember two cities. There are people in this world who have the inclination to do unscrupulous things but lack the courage to do it in real life so they do it in a videogame. I accept it as reality but I will never understand the mentality.

" I thought we had the ability to disable this service? I have to re-read the post again =/ |

I'd like to point out... I have two separate internet connections, same city (I use my dedicated-work connection if nobody else is using it). When I switch from one modem to the other, it said new city.
Kilts for Templars <tm> - Our mission is to replace the ancient Greek toga worn by the Templar with a kilt. It fits the theme of Wraeclast better, and it fits the voice of the Templar.

Take care out there.

" Im sorry, thats just bollocks. Why do techies insist on making people pick passwords that are impossible to remember but exactly as easy as any other to brute force? Hell thats just an algorithm, anyway. People should pick a password that is easy to remember and almost impossible to bruteforce: eg: PurpleMonkeyDishwasher (23 characters) AquaElephantCoffeeMachine (26 characters) the algorithm is some combination of Color Creature and Object in camelcase, but could easily be Verb Object Color for eg RunningLorryAquamarine (23) JuxtaposingTankYellow (22) Seriously, these are much easier to remember than some pseudo-random series of letters, numbers and symbols of which the average person can only remember 7 with any accuracy (its the reason why most local phone numbers are 7 digits long). With this in mind this system has people remember exactly three random things that still create a password thats practically impossible to crack. Think Simpler, computers are good at random and complex. your most complex one 3X1l3*F0!p4Th takes exactly as much computer power to break as BluePaperGate or BrainPopNixon before anyone goes, but that simplifies the crack attempts to a dictionary search: try Prissy18WheelerPalletJack: dictionaries are by no means complete, and if you use a scientific word like CycloHexane or DiHydrogen the dictionary thing is just fucked (up yours Oxford University). And still easy to remember. B. The Preceding message contains discretion.
