Orb is quick to cast with all the cast speed, and the area is also very big, i dont have any problems casting orb before problematic pulls.
Also i think it works with golem too
I notified big difference in dmg when i pick EE, i think its worth it

Problem is, orb is cast at your character.
And i rush thru content np without it, but bosses takes slightly longer.
Anyone mind to share a video of normal mapping (not just bossfights) with this build ?
I'm lvl 75 now with still pretty bad gear and i feel like this build plays really slow. So i would like to see where i can improve with my general playstyle.
I second this, a "normal day" type vid with tips to playstyle would be greatly appreciated!
I will be streaming again this week once I can get my settings fixed. Something with OBS and the game active has been messing with my connection. That and I can record some stuff as well although the minute I login I get multiple party requests haha.

How does this build deal with ES regen? Do you just hope you don't get hit frequently or?
High ES pool with a quick restart. It is definitely not a facetank leech build. I played whispering ice last league and it is an entirely different playstyle.
The golems and use of decoy totem is important. Keeps 'control' of the mobs. But for trash packs you basically kill them before they have a chance to do anything.

Thank you, i'll take a look at your stream when i got time for it. Addtional Recording would be nice, but as long as twitch saves your latest streams that would be enough i think
I like this build, it has pros and cons, i feel some weak right now but to be fair my gear is crap. The only downsize of this build its the promise of "budget starter build", thats why i choose this build before the whispering ice tri-curse elementalist (astramentis doesn't come free)
But to be competitive to start farming some content i feel Doryani its needed and the price its around 60c, so not so budget for me after all... i feel pizza sticks its cheaper
But having fun right now so i dont complain, saving currency to get Doryiani and leveling to make cruel lab quick and safe , to get prolif and change the gem to CE/iAOE
Im thankful to the poster who said the tip about Decoy totem, make wonders while leveling with bosses, chests, breaches,...
I can't stress this enough, but don't use scepters with "adds fire to spells" with elemental equilibrium because it will work like this:
1. cast OOS - lightning and fire damage -> resistances increased for lightning and fire
2. cast flameblast on a mob resistant to fire - not good.
Can someone confirm this, and maybe OP can add it to the guide.
Correct. Do not have any "add fire dmg to spells" on anything. It messes up the OoS EE setup.

You don't need Doryani unless you are pushing for Shaper/Guardians. Besides, at the time when OP published this guide the price of Doryani was like 1c each lmao... Look for rare sceptre with high "elemental dmg" and "fire dmg" and "cast speed". Do NOT look for "spell dmg" (nice to have, but look for fire/elemental dmg first).

Doryani's is not needed for those either.
That cost 20c at the middle of breach league. Cleared guardians and shaper well.
The Dark Seer costs about an fuse/chaos now in Legacy league. It's very good for mana sustain and damage isn't bad either.
