2.6 CI Ignite Flameblast by Waldgaist - very good starting Build and decent Shaper farmer

So far this has been a great build. I however am running into a problem killing Phoenix boss. How do you handle killing him, seeing as he has ignite res. I feel flameblast even with concentrated effect isn't doing any damage to him. End up getting killed to the fire res stack he puts on me. Thanks!

It takes a good amount of time to kill him, but hes relatively easy, just dont roll any additional life mod on the map and swap chance to ignite for elemental focus to boost the deeps.

Hey Waldgaist - I've really enjoyed the build. I am just getting back into POE this league after a pretty long break. Last time I played was prior to ascendancies/atlas. I don't speak German but I followed you on Twitch and have asked a few questions here and there. I appreciate you taking the time to respond in English.

I have seen that you moved to another build, but I was wondering what your strategy was for the Atlas? This is my first experience in a league since the introduction of the Atlas and I'm not sure what the best approach is to "shaping" my atlas. I would eventually like to kill Shaper but I don't know what my Atlas should look like and which maps I should shape. I am able to do Tier 11 maps without any problem at all. I haven't attempted any higher since I don't know what I'm doing in terms of shaping. I still have tier 1-6 shaper orbs in my inventory because I don't know how to use them wisely (I can't even stash them...).

I'd really appreciate any input on this. Maybe you could post a screenshot of your atlas or some general pointers. I'll try to catch you on stream sometime as well and ask. I really appreciate your contributions to the community. Happy holidays! Danke!

I took CWDT to level 19 to get level 19 tempest shield, but I don't think the added damage needed to proc immortal call is worth being able to have a level 19 tempest shield linked to it.

I'd like to hear what other people running this build think about it.

I don't really get it why you learn HP talents, while using CI, could any1 explain please. I get the HP regen idea but on the top around power charges, why take max HP instead of max mana? hen you have only 1 hp.
Also increased max% HP and mana around there as well.

You do realise you have to start life based and then reroll your passives for CI, right?

If you are asking post-reroll then this is probably your answer
