Season One, Race Event 1: One Hour Solo

The way this is setup, I'm actually looking forward to this. Going to have to get some practice in tomorrow if I can.

Aiming to get that ring reward at least. Didn't think I'd have an opportunity at first, but was surprised to see a good variety of event times on the calendar. I should be able to make a fair bit of them, and hitting that 13 goal or higher here and there should get me to the points needed!

Living on the east coast, you want to make me get up at 3am to run races in path of exile?

Come on GGG, these times are completely unreasonable for australians.

No matter what time they run the races it's always going to be a shitty time zone for someone.

Are these reward items going to be given as unidentified random rolls or are those the set rolls? I think it should be random or given as max rolls.

Also, can you save points to carry over to the next season?

Great to finally have some announced racing action starting soon. Personally i am a little bit dissapointed about the prices. I mean the only reasonable price seems to be the coral ring ilvl100, but if i was to play a CI build, then honestly, i would not know what to pick for a price. Really hoped to have some currency's as a reward like it was in CB. I can understand that since there are a lot of players who are going to race, that it would fuck up the economy, but a solution for that would be to increase the chance of getting some currency that is not used for trading too much. Right now the races seem to be just a dick measuring competition and has no real value to it. Also some microtransaction points as rewards would have also been quite nice(need moar tabs!). I'm sure that GGG has thought this through and have their good reasons for making these races the way they are and i'm sure that some things are bound to change for the next season. I'll try my best to take part in as many races as possible and wish the best of luck for everyone who is going to compete in these races.

The sad thing, it is not possible for me to arrive home from work when the race starts but anyway I will probably give it a go for half an hour.
