Is Beacon of Ruin really a must ?

I mean , i hit everything with split, with conflux, everything is spreading before beacon even counts because i hit it.

Pendulum ( inc ele dmg ) should bring more or ?

Using this atm in phc, soon to be lvl 91. Nice build but at times it felt a bit unfinished. :)

As said before, single target is lackluster. Did some testing with lightning arrow/frostwall and that seems to work just fine. What I don't like about fw is that it's pretty hard to offscreen with it. :p But it makes some of the tougher bosses drop pretty quick. Takes a couple of seconds to switch gems.

I like to roll builds on a budget and try to be mostly ssf until high lvls. My gear atm:



I haven't picked up acrobatics yet, it just doesn't appeal to me.


Question: What's with the tooltip with this bow? I haven't used ppad, just slower proj/faster attacks. But then i actually read the tooltip and it seems totally inaccurate? :/


Anyways, I followed your build so far but atm I'm really thinking about going shaper of desolation, calamity and head for mastermind of discord. Using lightning warp and frost wall/la? That would help with the single target. I'm not sure the golems add that much and I cry every time I roll a chain map. :)

Gear-wise I've been looking at a 6L coil but I'm not too sure yet. 6L I've been thinking about split+wed+pierce+slower proj+ppad+ele prolif for mapping then. For tougher bosses LA+wed+pierce+gmp+ppad+added light with frost wall.
Or maybe ele prolif isn't even necessary and we just go with faster attacks.

Would run purity of lightning, arctic and herald but that might be a bit tight on mana.


Thought's? I'm pretty indecisive. :)


Edit: had a couple close calls so far but that's on me running retarded map mods on rippy bosses, build is great. :D

Has anyone actually tried Blast Rain - Faster Attacks - PPAD - WED - Conc Effect for single target? It seems like everyone here only tried Vaal Burning Arrow and Frostwall + LA for single target. Would be nice if someone tries and posts the results.

frostwall + LA seems to be the best option. If you dont like changing gems you can actually just run LA instead of split arrow and it works the same.

There is absolutely no problem with single target as long as you use Slower Projectiles and not faster Attacks. there is no need for another skill!

Hey! Can anyone tell me what gems should i try to get to 20% quality first? Split arrow and vaal it? or is there a better option?

Using Slower Proj instead of faster attacks does seem to make a huge deal in single target fights like the above poster said so i recommend everyone who only has a 5 link to try that out :)

One thing tho, use Poeplanner rather than the one on this site. It loads tons faster and shows the cumulative modifiers of the selected skills.

I’d highly recommend “of Fury”, it creates an arc of projectiles that scale with your gear/tree. Every 5 seconds it will proc and the coverage of the arc helps clear stray monsters. Here it is in action.
Or you can use “of Spite” for a more defensive option.

Another good glove enchant is "Cast Word of Reflection When Hit". Creates a clone of your toon when hit. Nice defensive option. Has saved me from taking extra damage a couple times already.

Question: How are you generating Frenzy Charges? I see you're taking them in the passive tree.

Good Build. Single target dps seems fine to me. People are probably so used to rolling through white mobs on this build that they must expect it with bosses. ;)
