" Tooltip isn't that impressive (~30k right now on Bladefall), but I stopped caring about that a while ago. The results are what matters--see the Palace Dominus w/ monster damage and 110% damage as lightning I just posted. |

Is a vagan dagger absolutely nessecary to switch to this build? On poe.trade the daggers start at 30 chaos, which is like 3 times the currency i have and since my highest master is Lvl 5 I won't really be able to craft decent mods on it. Is it still worth it?
I'm currently looking through poe.trade for energy shield stuff for up to 3 chaos max. I'll be able to get a 4-5L armor, but i probably won't get 4L on all the other things and crafting these rather cheap items too much probably won't be worth it either (and i won't be able to afford it anyways :P), so i wanted to ask, besides CoC/Cyclone/Bladefall/CritStrikes, what other gem combinations are absolutely necessary to have to switch and what gems can be dropped in the beginning if you only get 1-2 4links? What do you think Your build vs CoC Discharge blade vortex cyclone aka Fakener, which one doing more damage and sustain/leech mroe hp?

" Without a Vagan dagger, your hit and crit chance are going to be too low to be effective. What will happen is you'll spin into a pack of mobs and miss, not crit, miss, etc. and you'll get dropped on the floor. In addition to the 4L setup you mentioned, you'll need blade vortex + power charge on crit; whirling blades + fortify; Immortal call + cwdt; some sort of warlord's mark (you can link it with blasphemy if you cant get the 4 link with blade vortex. |

" Leech is the same on both builds as both do massive damage and will leech your entire HP pool back instantly. Discharge requires EE and loses damage based on resistance. Physical spells generally shred everything and don't have to take resistances into account. The Blade Vortex in the Discharge builds also seems like it doesn't do very much - usually when I see people streaming and mapping with that build they reach something like 10 stacks of Vortex on average? All in all? Single target seems higher with this build. AOE seems about the same. Area of damage feels larger with this build (EK projectile speed range exceeds Discharge AOE radius by a bit). Unfortunately is impossible to get 5 off colors in my chest (800+ so far), I gave this build just because of that :'(
Maybe with a es/ev chest it would be easier.
