ok thx, im 67 now and i just begin to map. i bought my daresso chest and trying to 5-6l it atm but no luck so far.....still 4 link with like 90 fusing....still avent found an exalte in talisman with 3 character (80-67-58).luck is not on my side it seem.hard to get bino,maligaro,rat nest when you drop fk all :( mabey soon mabey soon ^^

I'm definitely lacking something here regarding HP pool.

I use the same uniques as you on my shadow, with the recommended skill tree, although im "only" lvl82.

Still, my HP pool is about ~3800, where yours exceeds 5K.

6-7% on all of them atm, at lvl 95 im at 5700 now on the ranger. I did spec my 89 shadow and he had less life as well, part of it is due to char lvl.. We pick up life each lvl and also the ranger starting nodes. Finding a nice tri res shield with high life is good if u dont have that yet. Start with low ev until u can afford an upgrade down the road. I prioritize life when possible, but you want to balance that with your dmg. Also depends on content youre running.

I've been looking to play a Shadow as my next character and this build looks simple, fun and effective.

I'm still a relatively new player, do you think this build is fine with pretty much no currency and self found gear to start off with?

If so, could you go a little more in depth with leveling and any advice you can give me to make it easier as a beginner player?

from my experience starting this build in talisman SC with low currency exepte some good gear i keep from the 2 other character i lvled in talisman,yes this build is doing fine even with low currency.

tips for lvling. crest of parendus is an amazing sheild for lvling,im actualy lvl 67 and still using it lol. hight block,leech,life,1 good res.is EV is low but its still BIS for low lvl imo. if you lvl as a ranger,aim for int and str stats first in the tree.i grabbed essence sap for mana problem and then strait to shadow area for int since many gem need int and dagger have hight int requirement.at first,might be better to go with sword instead of dagger since they usualy have better stats,more cummon and no int requirement.you might also want to lvl a bit with bow at first since spectral throw and reave are garbage at low lvl and bow had massive buff with low bow dmg inc and shrapnel shot is amazing in low lvl.

i just started map last night and my death count is 2. 1 was a irl aggro,afk with 2 mobs on me and came back with like 10 on me...dunno why i havent tp out lol that was uber stupid of my part.second death was a instant kill from daresso cruel,spawned is spining blade+combo at the same time and i was full to 0 in 1 sec but i didnt had phase acrobatic and arrow dodging so...if i had them,i might not have die :(.overall,its a really tanky build so far and with good gear end game,the dmg is also insane.

between OP,you should change your eternal instant flask for a divine.divine give higther instant life

imo i would say yes if you are carefull. you could change HOA for blasphemy-enfeeble if you want to be even more tanky.evasion build are always quite easy for the lvling but end-game when burst dmg can get really hight,evasion build always have some risk to it but having decent hp and few layer of dfferent defencive mechanic make it fine if you dont try to face tank everything :P

If you said so, I'm going to try this build on HC with some of the skill tree modified since 'Acrobatic' rob you 50% armor to 'Cloth and Chain', which armor and life(like many many life) is a must to survive and other modif to be more 'tanky' in HC xD.

Any idea for the passive skill I should choose for more tanky Shadow? I'm kinda new to PoE honestly :P

Hi, I'm new to this game, I find this guide interesting but I'd like to know how you advanced in your passive tree, could you perhaps link a 20,40,60,80 pts tree pls, it would be really nice (ranger).
and what whould you suggest in the early level, e.g. which gem to use till lvl 50.
