That you are not limited to one or the other... ED + Cont is pretty good, ED + Cont + AoE Poison? that's the core of the build. Why stack two DoT when you can stack a third one that can go so far as to stack on itself?

-As far as defence go, I have kind of the same problem with getting occasionally oneshot. Atm I'm running blasphemy/temporal chains, thinking of switching to enfeeble (but temp is cool for offense too, so as long as I don't hit huge maps I don't think that's needed) or to replace arctic armor by enfeeble (dual curse temp/enfeeble would solve most of the problems, if not all.)

Hi i love your guide atm im using belly alphas binos and saffels and a 5 link in belly so using all gems except Iron will. Anyways now when i got binos can i stop use contagion spell totem? or should i still use it? also wither stacks just chaos dmg or poison? do i make both chaos/poison or just poison now?

I had tried this with pretty high hopes, but it's not that often that you get a poison off of it. Plus that's a whole 4 link which I can't really spare...

Poison is Chaos damage, so yes Wither works with poison.
I've now found that self cast contagion with increased area of effect, faster casting and increased duration works better than using a spell totem. This also frees up that totem space for a Wither totem, perfect for bosses!
You will still need to use contagion though, the poison (though broken as hell right now) is there to supplement contagion + ED.

Not sure about that, but considering the poison heal is considered regeneration and not leech, similarly to the ED, it would get affected by zealot's oath (haven't tried that out yet, but I suppose it would work)

Actually, the way ED applies the health regeneration is not tagged as "life regeneration," it is a separate kind of "heal" that occurs on skill contact. The way GGG put it was that the heal incurred from ED is actually a "separate" type of life regeneration that's not effected by passive nodes or key-stones like Zealots Oath. So no regeneration will occur to your ES pool when hitting enemies with ED. However, GGG does plan on making this an option down the road.

But then you need to skip your minion life minion dmg link if you gonna have 4 link contagion. and then just have like vaal detonate dead chaos golem and minion life or minion dmg ?

one more question when you run enlighten with temporal chains and haste how much mana you got left? cause without enhance level 2 i cant run both auras also i wont be able to summon golem also? plz give input before i invest my last currency into a enlighten

Check out the updated gear and gem links on the first page. I updated as this setup no longer seemed the better option.

I've got the golem on a Cast When Stunned with some skellies.

The enlighten is worth it in the long run. I'm sitting at around 170ish mana, I have to mana pot constantly but I don't mind it.

There are two different ways to make this build viable: this guide focuses on solo play, there is another party based build thread elsewhere in the main build guide list under "Witch" - ED + Contagion.

Using this particular build thread in a party would be pretty useless imo. The support version should utilize Breath of the Dying, dual or tri curse blasphemy or 2 curse blasph. and 1 curse self cast. It should basically exist to support your team with curses, and the +dmg % aura from special uniques. The other benefit is spreading poison, but in higher level content you won't produce that great regen/poison effect with Bino's if you're playing alongside crit arc, CoC, or other 'meta' builds that clear quickly (you don't get the "on kill" effects and thus don't spread the poison or regen.

Small party-based play should be okay though, and i see some utility there. However, full party play will probably seem quite boring to ED- Contagion players as they will probably just follow the group and not do any worthwhile damage.

I think the OP has it pretty much right when it comes to the benefits though. It's a very safe solo build, and so far, great for MFING.
