I tried with binos, for my surprise the poison damage is good, although i don't have the toxin nodes.
But im ci not life

Not sure about that, but considering the poison heal is considered regeneration and not leech, similarly to the ED, it would get affected by zealot's oath (haven't tried that out yet, but I suppose it would work)

I don't plan on doing that any time soon personally, at least not until I can get 6k+ ES with a respec, but hey. I'm guessing it should work. (Confirmation anyone? I may be completely mistaken?)
Definitely going to try this out :D
Do you need to cast contagion or bino's transfert ED on its own?
Hi, can u post lvling guide. I mean points tree. example 20pt,40ptk,60ptk etc.

the only thing id say i need to point out is when your doing your calculations omit the gems linked to ED because unless the bino's poison is also directly affected by the gems that support the skill that initiates the poison then your numbers would be off. im not 100% if thats how it works.

It has been confirmed that gems affecting the skill that applies the poison also affect the applied poison. The only one that isn't completly confirmed is spell damage. But projectile damage has been confirmed and that seems like just as far fetched...

You need to cast contagion to spread ED. Bino's only spreads the poison damage. So when you do use contagion, you are spreading two pretty beefy DoTs

I didn't level with this character (Standard league) and have no experience leveling with ED or Contagion.

If I was going to I'd probally level with Flame Totem + Searing bond, picking up all the life nodes then switch into ED + Contagion as I start picking up the Chaos and DoT nodes.

Until you get a Bino's, this build is bascally the same as any ED + Contagion build which I'm sure there are guides for.
I am planing on giving this build a try.
In the 6 link do you think empower(lvl3) might be better than iron will ?

Yes it would be. (I don't have an empower :( ).
A level 23 ED does 200 base damage more DoT.
With my current gear and set up, Iron will (@359STR) takes the final damage multiplier from 18.6 to 21.5.
On a level20 ED:
- 15047 without Iron Will
- 17393 with Iron Will
An increase of 200 base damage using the multiplier without Iron Will works out to:
- 20590
So a level 3 empower would improve EDs DoT by approx 3100 dmg/s compared to Iron Will

Hello, I would like to say this is an awesome build and is working very well for me right now.
But Occasionally I will get stunlocked/unlucky and die very quickly to physical damage.

How do you deal with this/What can i do to avoid this?
Yeah, I've admittedly got the same problem. It makes sense in a build that attempts to avoid incoming damage rather than mitigating it, when it does get through, bad things happen.

The easiest is to stay out of harms way, I've been having an easier time when running a haste aura. Using daggers you're lacking cast speed, haste helps out giving you better character control with less time pinned down casting and faster move speed.

Of course you can't dodge every bullet. Cast when Stunned with a Chaos Golem and some skellies has been working out fairly well for me. Both cause a distraction and the -4% phys damage incoming can help.
An ealier alternative I was using, was Chaos Golem and Phase Run on cast when stunned. Phase run would draw the attention away from me whilst giving a speed boost and no collision.
Cast when stunned simply because it allows you to use the higher skill gem level. And triggers specifically on the problem!

OK so i was lucky enough to self find (ikr wtf...) a bino's in talisman.

on the very same night...while in the same map type (good ol' ledge maps) i found a tabula.

with those two items on hand i set out to do some testing.

I think i have stumbled onto the core of this build which can help us define the build further.
What i have found is that using the bino's poison effect is inferior to the Cont+Ed in every single way except 1. And its a important 1 thing what is it?

Poison Dot STACKS. thats it simple.

bino's DOT does ALOT less than ED's but ED's does it once for a set duration and that's it.
So i did some testing on low level mobs...the difference isn't that noticeable because once the spread occurs the result is the same things die...

I then tested on lvl 80 mobs. and the difference is HUGE. The ED hit drain the hp and you need to apply another cast of Cont if you want them to die AND spread.

A single stack of bino's doesn't do much well.. not by my std of dmge at end game but wwhen you spam the skill or better when things blow up near other things the stacks add up and begin to match ED's dmge.

So..... to make this build viable for any map and make it go at a reasonable clear rate what can be done to increase the number of stacks the poison applies?
I mean your going from something like 25k dps chaos from ED to around 4500 dps per bino stack
It a tough choice i mean binos u dont need to cast cont which is nice but the AOE of the spread is horrible.

Im going to keep playing with and without bino's till i come to the glorius moment where the right combination things line up to make game play smooth and FAST doing tier 12 maps. right now for me the bino's approach doesn't cut it.

Let me know if you find something that works for you.
