[2.1] Essence Drain / Poison Bino's Witch (Pre 2.1.1B)

Temporal chains is better defensively, this build lacks of cast speed and cursing everything with temp chains does the job - slowing everything down is one of defensive mechanisms of that build (in addition to dodge and evasion).

Your opinion about Vulnerability instead of temporal chains, wouldn't be better for extra damage over time effects ?

This, plus Temp chains actually buffs offense by increasing the duration of Poison, ED, Wither...

I'm actually on the fense with going double curse Temp Chains / Vulnerability since the poison fix, WIP

Also, I realised that using arctic armor over grace seems to work better - 13% flat phys reduction and 12% fire reduction is a thing, it saved me a couple of times. Also, I'm using flame golem, but chaos golem performs well too (especially for higher map tiers).

To be honest I've just been leaving Haste in that slot, reduced cast times, faster escape with WB and better movement speed has saved my life by giving me more control of my character... Clear speed goes up as a result as well. Preference prevails here IMO

I run a modified version: low life with RF. Defensively, it's good with 9k ES, high level temporal chains and massive heal when I pop a ruby potion. However, it's kinda bad offensively. Even though my ED is only lvl 15, it is effectively a 5L with lvl 18 ED (I use Empower lvl 4). With all that buff (all the MORE damage gems, RF, Pain Attunement, dual curses), damage still sucks so hard at high level maps. Now if you toss in Curse immune, I can imagine it's gonna be even worse

Seems like Poison nerf hit it hard.

Call it a fix, but yeah, down from an average of 30k per stack to around 8k...

I've decided the clear speed isn't up to it for my liking. It works, it's just lacking that "Ummph" that the brokeness added.

I'll add a short gameplay video of how it plays after 2.1.1B just to make it obvious what to expect and to diplay the difference from the current videos that are up.

I'm working on converting the passive tree to a Bino's Kitchen Blade Fall, it's working nicely so far, needs a tweak here and there. I might make a thread for it depending on how it plays out at higher level maps. RNGesus has left my side once more on the map front.

I'm in the same boat, the clear speeds are to slow for solo play. In my opinion this build is still good and great for group play.

I screwed up my recordings and have allready respecced a lot of the passive tree for a new Bino's poison build... Sorry
Can you give us a bit of a run down on your current setup? The clear speed is abysmal now :/ Also a link to your tree would help.

Not too sure how I'm going to have to change mine tbh.

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPP

this build..

Fixed a bug where skills (from both players and monsters) which dealt chaos damage over time were doing far too much damage when supported by Poison.
