2.1 Talisman League Guide for Cheap Permacurse Dual RF Totems for Hardcore/Softcore -Atziri Viable!
First time player just starting and and wanting to try out this build.
" I'm quite confused here. Scion and Shadow are both two different classes. Could someone elaborate what he was saying? Is Shadow a skill on the passive skill tree that I can take? or are they same classes? |

" So you need to get to at least act 3 Upper Scepter of the God to get the character class Scion which if you have already done sweet as. The Shadow is used to get the skill gem Fire Trap -a skill gem that the Scion does not have access to but the Shadow gets just for walking into the first town Lioneye's Watch. After you get the skill gem put it into your shared stash and make another character as a Scion. Run to town and pick up your new shiny fire trap from your stash :) Regards, Thraxeus. |

I'm currently playing this build in HC using a triple curse setup and it's extremely effective, vuln + enfeeble on blasphemy and a flammability manual cast. The dps is quite insane as of now with just this setup but there are some issues with efficiency with farming and AOE (hence the carcass and was wondering if there is any way to improve AOE) I've also been replacing blasphemy curse auras with normal auras in curse immune maps, so there's that. And another issue i'd like to address is leveling, you should transition to RF totem at level 60+. if possible take 2 lifesprigs and a unique talisman +2 to gems with flame totem, and a searing bond with increased burning and rapid decay and leveling will be heavenly. I did this decimating mobs until the level 55 mark (scaling issues with flame totem), however searing bond started doing main damage because of the burn damage nodes |

i'm also sitting on 4.5k life and tankiness is no issue with the lioneye's shield

" Ah but see thats the thing I hate other totems and the build is made for the fun of LEVELING with RF but still being able to wreck maps once you get there. If I wanted to do another "here this build is only viable once you find your own damn way to maps and/or get to 65 to wear a Rise of the Phoenix" like so many other build guides I would have done that ^^ It took me about 10 hours to get to merci Act 4 and I used RF totem from level 24 so thats an example of the speed of leveling it can get you... And I exclusivley used it once I got Ancestral Bonds which I made a beeline to. Im surprised your having issues with the AoE also, once you have 30% incaoe + a Lavianga's that should be enough to 1 totem almost any pack mob in the game, (and all my maps are usually at least 10/15% pack size) sometimes 2 if you do a crappy placement. Honestly quite surprised to hear your having issues with pack clear/farming... I can blitz through maps in about 7-8 minutes for most of them provided it isnt a curse immune unid one X.X " So I actually made the build based on that post and the build guide even states its max setup is a 5link. But an alpha member came and said it did work so I did a little bit of testing and RF does apply the RD tag to the Totems because when you attach Spell Totem to RF it applies the duration tag as well. I believe this is a bug or an awesome oversight that RD is allowed to work with spell totems because of its interaction with causing all linked spells to now have a base duration of 8 seconds. There are very few Damage over time effects that you could link to a spell totem so I assume it was a fringe case as there were no RF totem builds out there when 2.1 was re leasaed... ^^ Basically use it while you can but dont expect it to stay there always :) Regads, Thraxeus. |

Nice build i changed to a variation of this after hating srs changes (my original srs totem build)
Im running ele equilbrium with arc/trap/multi trap and chain since i think 50 extra res reduction is to good to pass up. I have an idea after 2.1 patch start, but I'm afraid I missed something.
I think you know about full chaos incinerate build it use dagger and armour 25+75 convertion fire to shaos and what about RF? will it convert to chaos if we using this items? if yes we can awesome upgrade dmg and use 6l... English is not my native language, so sorry for mistakes

anyone tried this with EB/MoM? Should be able to scale even more damage right?
