Path of Exile seems to perform poorly on ATI/AMD cards?
they should give us the option to disable lighting effects even those who add light like frost arrow and discharge slow my machine
today i was about to drop to default ´coz 3 voids discharged me(freezed my computer) and i survived thanks to a server crash |

" yea those Dischargers are a real FPS problem |

HD 5750...Same Issue
| |
I get the issue when I run PoE and try to multitask out of the game. It causes my computer to horribly lag outside the game client, as seen when recording with Open Broadcaster Software.
Frame skipping in OBS on Path of Exile Skip to 3:23 for frame skipping at Lioneye's Watch which affected OBS but not the game client. Running on Gateway NV50A with an AMD Phenom X4 N970 CPU and even ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4250 with drivers up to date should make this game playable. |
|
" i have 4870 and i have this problem , i saw guy with 3200 have the same problems so i would say all ati cards suffer from fps drops |
|
My 5770 died a few days ago and I 'upgraded' to a 7950.
Safe to say my 5770 ran this game much better, lightning arrow is likely to get me killed as there can be huge 2 second spikes where the game in completely unresponsive. Sadly my LA is(was) my main right now and I doubt I'll be playing her again until this is fixed. Discharge leads to the same problem, as does ice shot. My hd 7850 is doing the same. almost unplayable as soon as almost any effect comes in. 10x worst if its lightning effects. lets keep posting everyday until this is deemed fixed.
I want to play. but its the drops that are so damn bad, makes it unplayable. hit me up @sarrow lets have fun :D

Has GGG officially acknowledged his issue? I have the same problems with a 6770m.
