(Dec 3) Ladder Race League with 50+ Prizes

Squidgyxombie: You were playing melee ranger? If so then grats for beating all the casters. First i thought i was the highest ranking melee char.

I was in a party for 3/4 of the race, but still managed to get to lvl 21.4, without even using novas.

It seems like being in a party really gimps the exp. What are the highest levels people got while in a party?
Testikel seemed to say he was in a party of 3 but I find that hard to believe.

I'd really like to know that melee ranger build :)

I would have loved to see something like first ranger to X location, first Templar to level 5/10/15/20.

I really felt that the first announcements lost a lot of weight as the game went on. I no longer cared that Noooope got to somewhere first, I wanted to know what level the closest Marauders where.

Hm, I don't think so. You are essentially skimping on power (not a lot of chances for good item drops, low level), you need a very specific combination of flasks with mobility skills, a right set of boots, and enough damage to safely kill bosses.

A ton of TP drops should be there as well.

Though, then again, the chances of getting all of that combo'd probably is about the same as the chance to get a Mirror drop in the first place, so it's about right in a twisted, sick, trollish sort of way.

I think a Ranger will be best for this, though, because of the freebie, easy to access movement speed boosts. Those will a ton of time/deaths.

How about adding many event-enemies?! High droprate with lots of hp. So you either choose to run past or the chance of a nice drop?

So how do we know if we won anything? I was the 5ht place witch and 13th over all. Thanks for the ladder.. it was fun!

Only problem with Ranger is relying on good weapon drops to be able to take down bosses, unless you have a buddy Witch throwing you spell gems while you grab +int via side path and necklace.

Phase Run from the Glyph quest is sure nice. Flicker Strike from Brutus the real gem though.
