Explosive Arrow Marauder (Updated for Release)
I just noticed that i had this in my stash:
Is it good for this build? I'd need to sacrifice 200HP for it right now. Also in here it says to use LA, but the exilepro guide says split arrow. I guess it doesnt really matter? Very fun to play so far! |

There are three skills you can use:
Lightning Arrow: Scales really well against large groups, but low lifegain per hit. Split Arrow: Frees up a socket allowing you to add a utility support gem like Blind on Hit, or Knockback. Also low lifegain per hit. Ice Shot: Slows enemies, has high lifegain per hit. Can cause stuttering if your rig isn't up to snuff. IGN: Ikimashouka, Tsukiyattekudasai, DontCallMeMrFroyo

Why is that Ice Shot has higher liferegen than split of LA+chain?

What are the 3 Projectile Damage nodes for?
Im confused with the different versions of the build. Do you walk through the 2 weapon elemental nodes or the armor ones? Is it for respeccing? |

Looted this a few days back and thought about starting a lottery to 6l it. Since there is no information on how much of a damage increase explosive arrow gets at lvl 22, is the loss of 1.4 aps from switching out of Quill Rain to this an overall damage boost to the build, or would the slower attack speed decrease overall damage instead? |

" The red values are extrapolated from the ones above. So, there is 25.4% more EA damage if you use that bow. 40.5% more if you use a +3 bow. Compare that with 78.7% more attack speed with a quill rain. You may want to use that bow if you get all the attack speed nodes and attack speed on every piece of gear. Otherwise the low attack speed will be too much of an inconvenience. Personally I think quill rain is much better unless you can get a +3 bow with 13% attack speed. Excellent spreadsheet with the missing red values filled in. Also, I agree with Pastromy's suggestion that the utility of a faster aps noticeably impacts not just overal dps of the build, but also the utility of the support abilities to blind/life on hit/chance to flee faster were also not factored when I considered switching to a slower aps.
Indeed it appears Quill Rain is arguably the most efficient weapon, in terms of availability and efficiency, for this build. [Edit] That spreadsheet made things so much clearer. Thanks. I just discovered the Arsonist passive skill at the bottom left. Isn't it worth investing into it considering that it lies directly on the path? Taking those instead of the projectile dmg nodes for example.
