" Amplify adds a ton of radius. That is very useful just by itself. It buffs the damage of the initial explosion and thus then buffs the damage of the burn. This is different from stuff like shock that double dips. Shock buffs the damage of the explosion, and then the buffed burn is multiplied again by the shock. As for how useful amplify is towards your dps, there is a simple way of calculating that. First you would add up all of your "increased damage" from passives and armor. Personally I have only amplify and a 17% increased fire damage neck. So, the ability does 100% damage normally, 125% damage with both, and 117% damage with just the neck. So amplify would multiply my dps by 125%/117%= 6.84% So, as can be seen, % increased damage is very important to this spec because it has very little of it in the build. Is this build dependent on me having %fire damage gear on? or is the damage not very good until the gems are all level 20?
I seem to be having lots of trouble igniting any blue packs of mobs in higher end maps |

explosive arrow, fire pen, inc burn damage, proliferation, blood magic

Your not using chance to ignite? Without Critting (which most of us can't due to res technique) your relying 100% on chance to ignite

does my chance to ignite get reduced on fire resist/elemental resist monsters? or just rares and uniques in general?
