Pastramy / Deltrus how viable is maintaining / applying shock stacks with assuming you just have the shock on hit cluster in the to left of the tree?
Max level wrath / ea
" / faster attacks
Max level wrath / LA
Max level wrath / LA / 20% added light (ele prolif, but not useful for groups)

I can't find the hard information regarding how shock stacks drop based on the amount of light damage done ?

It isn't viable if you use quill rain because all of your attack dmg has a 50% effectiveness with it. Even lightning arrow builds have trouble shocking stuff. You also will proc 25% resist against lightning if you use wrath, working against your goal. It is much better to get a sparker or someone who can crit big with added lightning damage.

The average mob in docks has around 30k hp, so you have to hit it for 300 lightning damage. With static blows you need 120 damage to shock the target. Then, there is a 50% increase in monster life for each party member.

Mobs in maps and rare mobs would have much more hp, and those are the ones that usually take up the most time. You probably wouldn't shock them so shock in general isn't really worth it.

These are just very rough estimates. My math might be wrong since I do not know the shock mechanics that well.

Ideally nobody would run anger/wrath. I would prefer someone who could cast ele weakness + enfeeble + temp chains. I find dual totem sparkers work well since shock/curses buff our dps so much, and EE can buff their lightning damage. But you can also group with any other elemental damage player and your EE will help them a lot. You just have to make sure that the entire group is Fire/Cold or Fire/Lightning damage.

Hi guys, I'm quite new to the game, playing casually with my gf for fun. So I decided to follow this guide, I am currently level 31 and below are my items.



I just want to ask what should be the next advisable item upgrade/purchase? Is my quill rain okay? because I saw some players with 95% projectile speed on their quill rain. Should getting the optimal weapon the highest priority?
Also I just want to ask how can you guys come up with 20% quality gems? been playing for 2 months I think, never found a gem cutter's prism.

Projectile Speed isn't that important on Quill Rain.

Your main priority should be to get a 4L for your explosive arrow. You should try and get more life on gear. Your helm is really in need of upgrade.

I got a 20 quality Explosive Arrow by buying a 15 quality one and then buying a couple gcp and finding like 2 or 3 to finish it off.

It doesn't have to be 4L Quill Rain, isn't it? Can be a 4L armor right?

Regarding gem quality,
which one should I look for first,
quality explosive arrow gem first before any other?

Correct, it can be a 4L anything.

Evasion/ES or Armor/ES hybrids will be the easiest type of gear for you to roll the correct colors on.

Quality on Explosive Arrow is most important.

Hi, just want to share my build. I saw the build of the owner of this post, and notice that you didnt take any fire damage increase nods, i want to know if you still do a lot damage that you can run maps alone. With my build i can run rare map 69 in few minuts, like 10 to 15 minuts per map, but i would like to have more defense couse i think i have to much dps.

Ya i use 2 quill rain one for mobs the other for boss, sadly ive spent over 70 fusing on the 6 socket to try 5 or 6 link, and nothing yet. The RNG is toying with me, i bough a 11% explosive arrow, them one 15% that is now 20%, and yesterday i found one 16% :).

I would like to know yours opinion on this build, and if its worthy to sacrifice fire damage nodes for more defense, couse i have this armor:



Im thinking in get armor and es nodes and iron reflex to change for one of them. But for that i need to know if only the damage of exlosive arrow is enouff for soloing higher maps. I can do reflect maps alone, becouse i can control better the inviromental, in group is a mess, and since for one arrow, my life goes down to low life, just one hit from mobs im dead. Alone i rarely get touch by physical attacks, i use decoy totem and 3 zombies.

Thanks for the answer. I thought that the whole party would need to deal fire damage since with the given build, i give mobs resist to cold and lightning. Do i have to switch out gear with the certain ele dmg and remove wrath then?

Yep. It is always best to only trigger EE with one element while in a party. It a good way to do this is to only have +#ele dmg on one piece of gear, so then you can swap it out depending on group composition.
