Tips / FAQ for new players

New comers and players who just don't know after still playing for months, you can post you passives and whole build without logging on in game, don't need to do that.

When you want to post, scroll down to your char, alt+click whatever and it'll show in content box.
For passives, just go to page and copy/paste link in URL

So really, there is no reason one should only speak of their avatar and then when asked to present, no excuses, unless you are lying or are embarrassed or ashamed of it. Remember you avatar is not you, it's figment of your imagination. A very very cool one thanks to the peeps of GGG.

Gold tip (or at least regarding what passes for gold in these parts)

To free up your inventory you can keep currency items like orbs and such in your stash and keep with you only wisdom and TP scrolls and shards. In case of not having the items required for purchase on your person, vendors will take them from stash.

Before I start, is there a way to reset my skill tree?

I don't want to start making something that causes my first character to become essentially useless.

IF you do all the quests by the end of the fourth difficulty you'll have something like 16 respec points, allowing you to refund 16 of your passive skills. Other than that, you can find or trade for orbs of regret, which give you one respec point each when used - although they are somewhat rare.
