Pro Tip:Use a Spare set of "Gloves" to Buff your character in a new area. This allows you to: a) Use more skills & b) free up some badly needed hot key slots.

you can use a spare weapon/shield set for this purpose and then just hit do this everytime you enter a new area:

hit X ERT X (to for example get those 3auras you setup to those 3hotkeys)

then if you setup your hotkeys right those gems will vanish from your hotbar, however they'll still gain full experience!!! that's right the alterate weapon set still gains experience and is a great place to train gems you don't want to use, or place auras you don't want clogging the hotbar

Under the Gems/Sockets section I would also mention that having multiple support gems of the same type socketed together does nothing, as the skill only takes the highest level one into account.

I had no idea about this until I decided to look it up on the wiki and found out I had been wasting my time with 3 Increased Item Quantity gems on the same skill.
