Immortal Flesh Builds
" I don't think it's trash, but it's certainly niche. CI + Immortal Flesh + Incandescent Heart caster = fail. I ended up dropping the belt because the lowered resists mattered a lot when it came to physical hits with added elemental damage. Without the belt, the build feels safer. Immortal Flesh is maybe best suited to support or summoner builds. Dreamfeather Elemental Cleave Ranger: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1087616

I respect your preference.
Making an item to synergize with the build is why we play this kind of games. Wish you luck. This is a buff © 2016

"Well, if by "efficiency" you meant "absolute value of negated damage", then yes, we are both. Although it is very strange definition of "efficiency" ) And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

" Boem is explicitly referring to the efficiency of the conversion mod on IH, while you are referring to the efficiency of using IF vs not using it, hence the difference in interpretation. |
|
" I'd agree on this - efficiency of IH mod is 25%. Effectiveness sounds is a little more accurate :P. About IF: IF sucks. I can't quite imagine arguing to use it at the late game - elemental damage hits VERY hard, and any -% max res is not worth it. Investing in purities only to drop it again seems a little weird too. It MIGHT be useful in the early, due to flat regens, but it req. lvl 50... so yeah. Honestly, swapping -% max res with -%res would help it a lot. Make the -res hurt (like -40 to all ELEMENTAL resistances, or 60, dunno), and it just might be late game viable. Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.

I did a build with this item + saffels and it makes me insanely tanky to both phys attacks and spells. my spell of choice was burning discharge. I can provide the build if u want. /deaths=0. Did it in Torment because I wanted to get the achievement there :P
You can also do Incinerate, Lightning tendrils with saffels and immortal flesh. Great synergy between the two. |

"how does it make you tanky against high physical attack damage ? you lose regular block by using saffel and the flat phys reduction gives you good protection against small rapid hits but against harder hits I believe youre still glass cannon unless stacking armour/ec+ic or a lot of evasion Last edited by grepman#2451 on Feb 2, 2015, 1:04:47 AM

" The premise of burning discharge is to use spell echo+ ec to get 7 charges to discharge, so against huge hits I have 7 charges up. If I take a hit after I discharge(less likely since screen melts) I mitigate with a high level CWDT + MoltenShell + IC. For chest I am using Carcass Jack and I have IR. my overall armour is around 3400. I also have a granite handy in case I'm facing dominus's touch of god, brutus gs,etc aka huge hits. With granite it pushes it to around 15k armour. Last edited by gutsygibbon#7788 on Feb 2, 2015, 3:51:07 PM

I've almost been thinking of getting one for my low life blood magic build. Throw up all the purity auras and you'll have 74% max res.
|
|
Do it without immortal Flesh and Aura effect nodes and you have 80% max res...
