I have a question about the poison mechanics of Consuming Dark.

If I use a Fire Trap without the Poison support gem and with 2 Consuming Darks equipped, is the poison DOT applied by Consuming Dark directly scaled by Trap Damage and Area Damage? In other words, for purposes of direct Poison DOT damage, is poison application credited to the Fire Trap, or is it instead credited to Consuming Dark in which case Trap Damage and Area Damage do not directly scale the DOT (although they do scale the initial hit)?

If it was credited to consuming dark you wouldn't be able to scale it in any way because it would be an item effect. There isn't any difference between CD poison and support gem poison.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Thanks raics.

I had some other questions about the mechanics of Ice Trap and Cluster Traps which I posted under the gem feedback threads; however, no one seems to be responding. Should I repost my questions in this thread?

Or, even better, make a new thread in here.

Please indulge me :-)

I'm going to go ahead and post my questions about Ice Trap and Cluster Traps in this thread.

I think that this will make it easier for others to find these questions; whenever I have questions about a gem I always search this thread and the relevant gem thread.

I have a question about Ice Trap:

What is the base area of effect radius for Ice Trap?

I have several questions about the mechanics of Cluster Traps:

1) What is the base radius within which traps are randomly dispersed?

2) How does increased area of effect (as provided by Carcass Jack or other equipment, the Increased Area of Effect support gem, passives, etc.) affect Cluster Traps?

* If the traps within the cluster are AOE, does increased AOE increase the AOE of individual traps within the cluster? If so, is this effect the same as if the trap were not in a cluster?

* Does the radius within which traps are randomly dispersed increase with increased area of effect?

3) How are critical hits applied? Is there one critical hit roll for the entire cluster in which case all traps in the cluster either crit or do not, or are critical hits separately rolled for each trap in the cluster, in which case, some traps in the cluster may crit while others may not?

Raiders Quartz infusion, states You have phasing while at maximum frenzy charges, but the phasing runs out so you don't just have phasing at max you just get phasing on max frenzy charges. Is this just poor wording or broken? Also Silver flasks grant onslaught but the onslaught gained from them does not give phasing.

You do get permanent Phasing. Try running into monsters after it "runs out", or look at your Chance to Dodge Spells. Phasing from a passive effect, as opposed to a Buff, does not have a Buff icon.
