I've made mistakes i think in my formulas but the base idea is correct.
Do you have some projectile damage ?

136*(1+1.22+0.56+0.40+0.10+0.24+0.19)*1.25*1.74*0.1 <- added damage

13*(1+0.19+0.40+0.1+0.24)*1.25*1.74 <- base cold damage
=
167


Hatred will work like the 10% added damage physical->cold and stack with it.

If I have

52% Evasion (taken from char sheet)
30% Dodge (acrobatics + improvements)
31% Block

How do I calculate the chance being hit?

Is it something like

(1-0.52)*(1-0.3)*(1-0.31) = 0.23

Or my formula is wrong?

Your mate's off :) Works the same as it always did.
Note that passives, gear and support gems can grant Chance to Inflict, which triggers on non-Crits.

The formula is correct with the exception that Evasion doesn't work that way. Read up on the Evasion Entropy system if you want to know how.

Your chance to be hit will be 0% if entropy is met, and (1-0.3)*(1-0.31)=0.48 if entropy isn't met. On average, you'll get hit approximately 23% of the time.
Ah, if I use your formulas + realize I forgot to mention the +12% physical from Oak it all works out thanks!

Can someone post, or direct me to, a formula that explains exactly how crit works from all the various sources (crit on weapons, global crit from other item, skill nodes), specifically with ice spear in mind. I have 31.5% tooltip crit on ice spear and assuming that is listed as first form, I need to know how much crit I can drop, from skill tree nodes, and still end up at the 95% cap given ice spear's second form.

I don't believe quantity affects chests anymore, i went running with 180% quantity and there were chests spawning 0 items still, and not just one or 2, but at least 50% of the chests. Not sure how this can be the case

Edit: also if you run the unique vaults map, with 180% quantity, with 6 players in game, some chests Still dont drop items... srsly why did GGG make this terrible change

all sources of crit are additive, relative to the base crit on a skill or weapon.

global crit affects both attack and spells. regular crit affects regular attacks. spell crit affects spells. But simultaneously regular crit cannot affect a spell's crit chance, nor can spell crit affect the regular crit of an attack like Double strike or cleave.

Ice spear's second form can do around 600%, or 6x increased chance for a critical.

if I have my math right, a total crit chance of 19% will be enough and more to reach the crit cap for Ice spear's second form.

Just an FYI: Faster Projectiles is a good support to use also, in terms of getting raw dps. Regards.

That change was made way back in CB period if I have it right, and also recently the Shipyards map was bugged to spawn much more items than were possible in chests. Regards.
