How about 1st item on twilight strand dropped?
Its Ilvl 1 and has 3 sockets.

Back in Closed, a whole bunch of people tracked the item levels of their drops and noted the socket count. Nobody found an item with ilv14 that had three sockets; they didn't start occuring until ilv15. As such, that is highly likely to be the minimum ilv required.
Regarding drop rates, do bosses have a higher chance for dropping uniques (compared to drops from magic/rare mobs)?

Carnage heart. Is the -25% reduced life on total life, or is it an additive/subtractive affix, so if I have +200% increased to maximum life, it will take that down to +175%.

Less/more = multiplicative
Reduced/increased = additive

Is shock still applied as it's stated in OP?

If you land a critical strike with an attack or spell that deals lightning damage, the enemy becomes Shocked.

I didn't find clear enough explanation how physical dmg calculation happens and i cannot recieve exact numbers from caracter info.

Maybe someone here can correct me:
i use 2-hand Plated Maul (105 max dmg) with
20% quality and
102% increased physical dmg. Also i have 454 strength (char info)
12% 2-hand dmg from talents

So i calculate as: 105*(1 + 20% quality + 102% weapon stats)*(1 + 12% talents)*(1 + (454/5)% physical dmg bonus from strength)

In calculator without any rounding i recieve 498,64752. In char info default attack - 501.
Is there some tricky rounding or i'm missing something?

Edit: forgot to mention Resolute Technique so no misses and no crits

Since the wiki link to damage conversion for elemental damage doesn't work in the OP I wanted to ask why I am not seeing what I would expect from my "elemental damage with weapons" bonuses.


We'll work with just max cold damage here.

Basic physical damage from the wand (max) = 136
Equipment:
add 13 cold damage (max)
add 5 physical damage (max)
+19% increased elemental Damage with weapons

Relevant Passives:
40% increased Elemental Damage with Weapons
122% increased Physical Damage with Wands
10% increased Elemental Damage
10% of Wand Physical Damage Added as Cold Damage
24% increased Elemental Damage with Wands

Power Siphon Level 15
+56% increased physical damage
damage effectiveness of 1.25

Weapon Elemental Damage lvl 14
74% more weapon elemental damage

My understanding of this calculation would be:
Total Physical Damage = (136+5)*(1+1.22+.56)*1.25 ~= 490
Cold Damage = 490*.1*(1+.4+.24+.1+.19)*(1.25*1.74)~= 205.6

However the actual damages shown on the tooltip for power siphon are
Physical Damage : 504
Cold Damage : 168

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong or link something?

I also wanted to ask how hatred would factor in, which of these buffs would affect hatred.
