Good guy chris. Thats why i love GGG.
You have to remember to chase and catch your dreams, because if you don't, your imagination will live in empty spaces, and that's nowhere land.

Gamespot have posted...

Eugh. I hope you're not paying them to post videos...

On topic - good to see BotW back. And all that alt art gear :)

"Fixing the endgame was hard - No matter how hard we buffed red maps, people would keep spamming Gorges.
So we turned Gorge into a red map"
should not be on build of the week make a seperate pvp of the week for that game play. most people dont care about pvp

dont waste ur time replying these annoying moba kids...they wont get it. PvP it's fine need lots of work but gives another experience besides farming and racing.
I really liked the video. I don't play PvP myself but I'm very happy GGG is caring so much about it. Does nobody remember news post replies before 1.3.0? In every thread you could find ten posts of "what about PvP".

As far as I understood, GGG has an agile mindset meaning they prioritize by user demand. If there only were 30 people pvping, development wouldn't give it so much focus.

On another note: PvP is really good for game exposure. It is a huge chance to get into the eSports scene which will help the game and GGG grow bigger, which ultimately means content development will happen faster or at a bigger scale.

The only problem I see is the already mentioned item barrier. In starcraft all you need is practice. In PoE it's practice and a lot of exalts/grind to get gg gear to some extend.

I think i and many other people pay your company for the awesome game you made. Its from me a small amount and i had earn money to buy a big pack. then you introduced pvp in the game and i know, this will get a big part of the game with a verry small szene who played it. AND i saw in other games i played, that in all games pvp destroyed a big part of the game.

so i take my money and make a holiday with my wife and i think i will spend money in the game again if i see, that part 4 is really in time and such a awesome part of poe you announced.

I see the challenge leages after introducing pvp are very unispired loveless parts of the game. Perhaps bloodline is a nice challenge but with desync and bad server connections i dont play it.

And i hope your statement is real. All other game designer who implement pvp in there game wrote in the beginning the same. And after a few month there come many changes designed to pvp what the pve people hate. And then they are looking for another game.

Its not the real amount of work whats the problem with pvp.

Its the thinking. In the future all game designers have in the mind, oh can we do this without destroying pvp. Oh how will this work with pvp.
And this is the badest part of pvp, if it comes in a game.

so sad, that poe is also going this way. But waiting for part 4. Perhaps your company can do it in another way. Id would be great.
^ yea, I dont really mind PvP that much, unless it will impact balance & desing of PvE. Then **** PvP. Nobody plays ARPG's for PvP.

E:
Maybe PvP should have a separate league and segregate all that items & balance in there.
