0.9.3 Updated Progress Report (final update Nov 13)
I updated the initial post with my last 0.9.3 progress update. There will be more posts later with other news about future patches (soon after 0.9.3 is deployed, most likely).

" So WhiteBoy88, what is your impression on 0.9.3? Things u you like - things you dont like? I presume that you can speak freely now ... Mirror of Kalandra?

I don't profess to speak on behalf of WB88 but let me say that you are all in for a very different game experience to what you have been involved with for the last few weeks.
Personally, it's not until I drop in to the Beta realm and play that I get a true comparison between the latest and current builds. We have come a long way. For example the current build on Alpha (0.9.3a) is more commonly referred to as 0.9.3alpha25 - having started life as 0.9.3alpha1. Sure, many of the intervening updates were "hot fixes" for crucial issues which came to light but you get the picture. There has been a mountain of changes. I'm sure you will all enjoy the new offering :) Be ready for a decent sized update download ! I used to be apathetic, now I just don't care.

Without going into extreme detail (have to leave some surprise, after all), my favorite part is the new rare/boss fights. The aura system is great, and it will have you running for your life in fights you wouldn't consider running away from in 0.9.2. Getting two or more rares next to each other can turn into a frantically challenging fight.
There isn't anything I dislike about the patch. There are a couple changes I thought I would hate, but they turned out great. One was the new class-specific starting locations in the passive tree. GGG did a good job implementing this change, and it does a better job of providing more optimal build paths than the old tree. It's also much more epic when you look at it as a whole. If the old tree blew your mind, you won't be able to pick your jaw off the floor when you see the new one. Closed Beta/Alpha Tester back after a 10-year hiatus.

Any chance of a quick screeny of the new tree, or do I have to chew at my desk for another 5hrs and 50mins? :P
Been trying to find one everywhere!!! My Signature Image :D
