The only thing wanders lose is a bit of crit multi from what i see. It wont be that big of a change. As wanders do insane damage anyway. I think we get even more life now also. Just need to keep in mind that ondars guile and AA are our defence.

I will be re-evaluating the tree once there's a finalized version released and post my thoughts / updates. The main question for this version of wander will be if the Ondar's AA combo still holds up, if mana regen etc. changes too much.
I'll post a review regarding whether I think the build got stronger, weaker, or stayed the same once the patch is final. I agree. But i said crit multi :P. They are just lowering our hits overall. Playability doesnt seem to of changed though.
This patch looks like its just opening more elemental possibilities since they got nerfed in the aura changing patch. IGN - Bootloops

The only update I have so far is that it'll be a bit harder to get OP DPS as any crit build now, since the Crit Multi gem was cut in half. No way avoiding that.
While this is true for all crit builds, we lost ~100% crit multi, and we lost a little survivability with the evasion shield + AA nerf. Everything else should stay pretty much the same. I'm waiting to see the finalized mana regen changes at the witch start. It might end up more effective to spec into Acrobatics and skip Ondar's, an overall loss in survivability. It depends on how severe the shield evasion nerf is. It's still the cheapest & most effective chain wander build for HC. With that I mean you don't have to get a CoE, CoD, or Shav's in order for it to be effective. The only thing that will really happen to the build is that you might have to wait a little longer before re-speccing to Wander, since you'll need better gear to make up for the DPS loss from the crit multi nerf. There's also an indirect nerf to the build since it will be harder to buy/craft a good wand now, with the hybrid ipd mod removed from masters. I'd still recommend the build. It takes some dedication to pull off, but if you think you can manage to get all the required pieces during the league you should have a great time :). I had also always wanted to play wander since I saw Kripp do it in Open Beta, and I finally had the chance in Beyond.
I managed to get enough currency and levels to make it to Wander in 1-2 weeks of playing Beyond, but then I ripped several times and reset everything. Playing moderately and with care, you should definitely be able to get there during a league :). DPS right now in 1.2, 5-link Will add a comparison after the patch with the same gem setup. What masters should we try to max for wanders?

Haku and Elreon are always best early in the league, to help you craft additional resistances and life on jewellery and armour. Zana is great help in sustaining a map pool early on.
Just take care on Haku, his missions can be very deadly. The other masters are nice to have, but no musts. I personally like Tora for the belt mods, and Vorici for free exile loot + cheap Fusings. I never really focused on the masters, since there will always be someone else who gets them to lv8 before you, and you can just pay them a little to use their services. ALT+F4, YOU FOOLS!
