Youll be lvl 63 on this tree, and I dont recommend going bm/mortal any earlier if you dont have much experience with the game. Use a secondary skill like storm call or flameblast before you hit this point, while obv keeping minions around

Granted I'm not doing end game content and I have played a summoner before but I'm blowing through act 3 merc with this build in the low 60's with less than 1500 ES and have yet to feel threatened

You need NA so your minions don't die, if you lose your spectres you're boned since you have no way to recast them. Extra ES for you means nothing if your meat shield drops and then you have no ability to kill anything. You are better off dancing around with less ES and having tanky, hard hitting minions that do not require a ton of babysitting

Of course. Or buy vertex/shavs or use ephemeral edge instead of bargain. But since im not playing on beyond but rampage, id rather not spend time resummon minions by the price of dieing when im playing as a fool. Ill tell you this: none of my deaths werent preventable by better play. Even those in atziri. Or by logging out... Choices in this build that are made arent like hardchoices, its the big parts of the build that make it play like it does: generosity hatred haste, bm mortal conviction, spectre and zombie focus. Not necro aegis, or the helmet, or bargain make it play like it does. Ive never argued upon people not using any of those because I dont think its a bad choice to do so. However, personally i dont think having "just" 4k es makes yo

Leary, what are your "always on" auras when you play, obviously vitality, discipline, generosity. Do you also keep Grace and hatred running standard? Just curious what gets turned off when you need specific purities?

Generosity hatred haste never goes off as well as discipline and purity of elements. Vitality stays on for everything apart from no or half regen, grace stays on unless i need to turn on purity of x besides the one that is always on (in my case pof ). But for ordering all auras (in case of not having full tree yet)
