What a well written OP, a pleasure to read. :)
It's hard for me to evaluate it because I can't say how good the leech rate is. I would have preferred chaos penetration too instead of the increased modifier + leech rate. But this way you have to build around a bit to fully utilize its strenghts, which is a good thing. It competes with powerhouses like CoD, coil or very good rares. So its downside is opportunity costs. You trade various defensive stats for inc. chaos dam and leech rate. I'm just a bit worried about the looks, too OP when it gets it 3D model. ;) It is truly unique (leech rate + chaos dam on chest), not OP but very good for certain builds and looks great. That's how a unique item should be imo. Thanks to you two and GGG for making the game a little bit better! | |

Uniques cannot undermine crafted T1s rares - this is how it's intended to be, therefore a lot of things which we were ambitious on were eventually limited by this factor as well out of the many other do's and don'ts. wow item is really cool by all sides.. 3d model and its properties but;
wouldnt be so OP with 20/20 life leech gem %20 leech rate + %40 from VP + %30 from item? ofc it will need some investment but %90 life leech rate like old vp? people were used to sacrifice wep slot for crap bloodseeker for leech in some builds. its just a concern tho.. cool item and glad to see some different things around. | |

" well you are right about alternative about acuity.. much cheaper and not cookie cutter as acuity.. you need to pick vaal pact and use 1 slot for 20 20 life leech gem. when i first saw this armor(my fr pm'd on facebook).. we both think 'omg this will be op for my end game ek crit shadow with mings heart and add chaos gem maybe even method of madness' and guess what i wont worry about refl tho :D cool art cool design.. well done | |
