but I guess the flood gates got blown open with the Atziri Uniques, and other items that prove something can be both powerful as hell, and have no drawbacks.
judging by that light, this one doesn't seem remotely broken all of a sudden.
and both the 2D and 3D artwork look extremely nice.

You mean like carcass, shavs, belly, Cloak, daresso...? You guys scoff but I am sure in the proper build this chest will be insane. Just like all the chests I mentioned (all with no drawbacks in the context you used) and I'm sure there are more.

These are all the chests being used in HC by high level mappers (90+).

I can easily see this chest having a huge power curve with the right build.

The game is totally different now. The simple fact that it has split defenses between armor and evasion, and also lacks energy shield and resists is drawback enough making this chest irrelevant for the vast majority of builds in the game.

Also by wearing this chest you are essentially agreeing NOT to benefit from Vaal Pact which may prove too unsafe for some hardcore players. And if you get the Atziri glove then suddenly this chest has lost most of it's appeal. This is a great item with subtle drawbacks in that it has an awkward position within the high end meta where leach mechanics are the most relied upon.

I wouldn't call this item powerful as hell. The life and armor/ev rolls are nice but 20% increased damage isn't all that great. If it were Le Heup would be the most popular ring in the game. Add to that the most powerful chaos damage dealers don't leech.
