I wish with this new patch those orbs from Chaos to Fusing drops more often; not in a game-breaking condition but an increase where it will help new players and casual-time gamers find it fun as how full-time hardcorers find it tenfolds more enjoyable in comparison with the difference of time investment in it.(゜∀゜)

" If this game lost a player for every time that sentence was posted on this forum. The game would be dead in the water. People here like to complain about casual entitlement but to me there is nothing more self entitled than someone who thinks that playing a game makes them a better person than someone who chooses to play a different game. Better yet. People who think that not having any issue grinding for hours on end to get nothing in return makes them more skilled and more "hardcore". |

310-330 Jewelers
15-25 Fusings Lvl 78 1 month league. Ranges given due to use for 4 linking 3-4 items. If all currency below Jewelers was converted to Jewelers and then fusings Roughly 400-500 Jewelers Total Fusings in 1 month would be roughly between 100 and 150. Give or take 50-75 depending on luck/rng. quod erat demonstrandum the 6 link recipe is not a viable recipe for use in anything other than standard league and leagues that last at least 2, if not 3-4+ months. | |
1500 fusings haha
RMT sites will love it. |

" Bring your IIR up to 100% and suddenly you've cut your dom runs in half. Two fuse per run. Assuming you drop enough chaos recipe items every 3 runs, and do the unid recipe, that adds 4 fuse per 3 runs (chaos 1:2). For sake of ease, you get six fuse per three runs from alterations (using your math, approximately) with 100% MF, and another 4 fuse from trading your chaos made from recipe. That's 10 fuse per three runs, or 3.33* per run. Dropping your run total down to 450 from raw currency. Now add in the fact that with THAT many runs, you're going to drop a fair amount of items that are worth 5-10 chaos, or more, and likely at least one item worth 1ex (50-60 fuse in new leagues) per 100 runs, I'm not even going to do the math on it but you should get 1500 fuse from anywhere between 100-200 dom runs depending a bit on RNG but mostly your willingness to trade. Welcome to the grind. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018. Last edited by Serleth#4392 on Aug 4, 2014, 2:36:35 PM

" Its not that , its just people cant understand the meaning of "end game gear". End game gear means that there isnt better than that. There is crap gear , there is mediocre gear , there is good gear and optional best in slot gear "end game". Everyone who complain about currency requirment for end game craft such a 6L , want to accomplish that in about 1-2 hours playtime in a weekend. In a few words they want BiS gear in 1 weekend. In a competitive game you dont want everyone with BiS gear. I surely dont. Cause whats the word "competition" mean? Means that , for the time you invest in the game you demand better gear for yourself than others. If you dont have much time to invest , accept the fact that you are a casual player who cant be competitive with others who invest 4x or more time than you and might dont get "end game gear" ever. If those players want end game gear in a weekend its not us that we want to be called "skilled" or "hardcore" players , its just them having different desires in a competitive game. Accept the fact that you are casual and enjoy the game as is whitout much of drama. Edit: And game is more alive than anytime. POE has more viewers than D3 in twitch about 2 weeks now , so i guess all this whinning is from D3 lolplayers. And if you think i am putting drama , go check D3 forums to see all these " Buff my skills!! " " Nerf mobs damage!!" " I am dying too much!! Bring back life leech so i can one button afk T6!! " crap threads. Same thing we living with 6L drama. Last edited by PureRhymes#2363 on Aug 4, 2014, 2:46:33 PM

>at least 'number' 'color' socket
thats a pretty weird way of handling socket color customization... for example: what if I need precisely 3 red, 2 green and 1 blue on a pure energy shield armour? that means i'll get 3 reds for sure but still need to rely on rng to get 2 greens? that sounds awful, would it be so wrong to get exactly the socket color we want? if people want to test their luck, they could still do it the old fashioned way but could we get an option for guaranteed results and not a less random one? |
|
I would like to see that the socket/link crafting prices scales with the number of existing links/sockets on an item. For example, if I wanted my 5 link to be a 6 link, I would pay less than if I wanted a 4 link to be a 6 link.

" I think from a development standpoint it may be difficult to code rolling exact colour combinations, rather than as it's been seen right now to roll a certain amount of x colour. On the simple basis that guaranteeing x amount of off-colour would need to cost a specific amount and on-colour another amount. Not sure, though. Regardless, I think for the sake of preserving crafting as it's been intended in this game, I'm fine with simply guaranteeing one of a specific colour. " Defeats the purpose unless (and only sort of if) it's reduced only by the amount of fuse it would take to directly purchase x links. For eg, 150 fuse guaranteed 5L means to upgrade it to 6L, you need 1350 fuse. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018. Last edited by Serleth#4392 on Aug 4, 2014, 3:13:21 PM
