The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. Those posts are like complaying that:
"I play chess once a week, I will never become grandmaster, this is unfair"
"I go to the gym 1 day per week and I don't see any results, this is unfair"
"I have been playing tennis for 3 months now, but the other guy that have been playing for 2 years is better than me. Unfair."
Where do these people come from? If you want to have a character that can clear endgame content in less than a week, go play diablo 3. PoE is not a game for you.

EDIT PAGE 16 HYPE!!!!!!
OMG.... 1st of all GGG I love the game and how it has progressed through closed beta.
The only thing I don't love about the game is the CRAP community it has brought along. Either people are whining its too hard to get the best of the best, or they don't like the color of the damn shop button WTF? The other half has their heads so far up their ass to even respond to you,
I say wipe the server close it up and revert back to when it was harder to 5 or 6 link anything. When a 4 link was worth chaos orbs....
My two cents.
:)
Not even worth one cent. :P
You can just stop reading when someone is whining (you are whining, by the way) and catch the people who don't respond when they actually make a comment (I find they are more talkative when drunk).
As for GGG "wipe the server close it up and revert back to when it was harder to 5 or 6 link anything", great idea. They work so hard to grow the player base and then just slit their own throats by doing that.

Chrome recipe is ludicrous. The cost of changing socket colour which is a REQUIREMENT for builds needs to be much lower.
Go ahead and say 'well then you shouldn't be using gear that requires hard to get colour combinations'. To that I say: Fuck off. Why would you want to be pigeon-holed into a certain character build purely because GGG says you shouldn't be able to have x colour gems in x armour piece. Why would you want to limit build choice of which is currently already fairly limited due to GGG nerfing anything remotely useful into a oblivion due to the 1% of characters who can afford gear to make the build OP.
You know the answer. Nothing will change for you in regards to chromos. You will still use them to change the item to your needs, most likely paying much less than the new crafting option.

Page 37 hype!
As for the content, I would be assuming that the reason the chrome price is so high, is that you're attempting a guaranteed set number of off color sockets. So with that said, I would also assume that if you wanted a guaranteed 4 blue sockets on that same item (shav's pictured) it would be much cheaper to guarantee the craft.
To the kids who are whining about the prices being too high... I only agree with then on the 6L price (150 fusings for a 5L is acceptable), given that you can trade chat one 6L chest (exception: tabula rasa) into your pocket for around 10ex (I have a 6L ES chest I've been trying to sell for "25ex" since domination, still rotting in my stash). Some cat suggested 1250, that seems a bit more reasonable, but in return you should do like you did with gem experience. Make that final level (which I assume is the level that you get access to 6L guaranteed craft) wicked hard to attain. This way, 1: you feel like you earned it, cause you ground out all that rep (whether you played 1min or 7days/week), and 2: you appease all the 1337ards who complain that the D3 kids and casuals will have "easy access to top tier game content".
As a poor player that's good at mathy stuffs can portrait: A dominus run in Merciless nets me about 2-4 alts (assuming no orbs drop) and I'll probably find a fusing drop every 4 runs (average), and an alteration drop every run (average). Total this up, 4 Dominus Merc runs comes to be on average 24 alts and a fusing which is roughly 4 fusings or 1 fusing per run. Dropping the price from 1500 to 1250 on 6L would mean that that person was saved 250 runs, they still gotta run the place (an estimated) 1250 times (which is a stupid amount of dominus runs).

I don't like that idea: It would be yet another mechanic which makes people who have good gear (needed to attain that level) able to become even richer even quicker than others. Having great gear already allows you to farm easier, there is no need for yet another wealth-booster for the wealthy. Real crafting should be attainable for all who play "normal" amounts. Normal means "finished merciless difficulty" or some such criteria.
Prices for crafting may be very high. That's fine, because people who play lots still need to have an advantage over those who don't. It would just be a pity to exclude these others from such an important part of the game.
May your maps be bountiful, exile

(1) +1
(2) ??? what? only an average of 1 fuse /run ? don't know if that worthy to run it in that case ^^
but again 1500 fuse is more expensive than do it your self
let say 1000 is the average now
it's mean the 6l cost now 1000fuse equivalent + the price of the item itself ^^
you don't have too farm fusing for that ^^
if the ratio is 75:1ex you just need to farm 14ex+item and buy one , it's NOT cheaper !! it's more
just use your head
