Announcing the One-Month Leagues (and Ambush/Invasion Challenge Winners)

Severely disappointed that there isn't a hardcore variant for this. GGG has gained the perception of shafting the hc player base in comparison to softcore over and over, and does it again. Invasion sucked after being dumbed down to easy mode. Nemesis wasn't hard if you were paying attention. The sc leagues have been loot fests in comparison. Once again they get the boosted loot (high inner treasure spawn) along with all the way other perks.

Playing sc like its hc does not work unless I'm playing solely solo which is silly in an online game as others aren't doing the same. Its not compelling to play and I won't be, just like I never got into ambush.


P.s. Id rather play in hc league with some balance issues than play in sc league.

What ! non-hardcore..

This is very disapointing. I'd rather play normal HC in this case, but my 300ish remove only tabs kinda motivate me to play HC only to test stuff out with my legacy and other good stuff.

I Personally dont even have necessary motivation to build a character that i dont even loose when dying because, the BIG part of the fun when playing, at least for me (excluding theorycraft related stuff) is the risk.. If i dont loose something when I die, I dont feel any adrenaline of playing with that risk.

This event should be splitted in two leagues (even if they have the same mods) so, both non-hardcore players, and hardcore ones would like it.

P.S. I'll still probably play this event, but only because i like to play in fresh economy and stuff, and i already planned some projects with my friends. (But still very disapointed)

This, why don't people understand this? I think we've had 2 races that lasted 1 month, both hardcore. Did softcore people whine so hard about the lack of SC races? It's the same shit as 1 month races, why can't everybody just deal with it?

Honestly I just wish they make a HC version for 1 reason.

To read the forums when all the mods kick in near the end and everyone either stops playing for those days (to stay alive) or RIP and lose everything, including the chance at the rewards, oh the tears XD

The fact that it's a SC or HC league doesn't mean it's more/less fun.
The main difference is instead of going balls to the wall defense, you get to build more offensively early, and just wreck things left and right, even if you fall a few times.

So it opens up more build options instead of everything going full life/evasion/Armor/ES and just stacking those numbers with resists.

Not saying HC is boring, or that SC is more fun, I enjoy the thrill of both.
I think we will see a lot of interesting/wacky builds in this 1 month event :D

Non-hardcore? ...and just like that, my dreams have been shattered.

Love when every 1 week ever was hardcore and nobody said anything, then the moment a league isn't hardcore everyone starts crying : ).
